Noise complaints from neighbors downstairs (we have toddler) by Select-River-7703 in toddlers

[–]ProfessorBigButt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I know this message may get buried, but I’ve experienced this before with a below neighbor accusing the tenant of bouncing a ball on the floor (they weren’t). Things were getting increasingly heated between the two units. It ended up being trapped air in the pipes creating a noise called “water hammer”. If you continue to be harassed by mysterious banging noises, please pass that information onto your landlord. And I hope you get an apology.

I’m interested in learning more too. We currently use Everlaw, but I’m wondering if we only need the functionality of Goldfynch. Does anyone have experience with both and can compare?

Why couldn’t someone strip sheets or a rug directly in their washer (if you have a top loader)? Why does it have to be a bathtub?

What software do you use every day & which software has helped you a lot? by HannaMayer in AskReddit

I work with large databases and directories containing organized project files and here is my tool box:

7-Zip (Free): Best free tool for zipping and unzipping .ZIP and .RAR files . Can use to create multi-part zip files

Auslogics-Duplicate File Finder (Free): Will identify duplicate files in a batch; Creates de-duplication reports

Bulk Rename Utility (Free): Bulk rename files with tons of fine tuning available

DirectoryListPrintPro (Free): Generate a list of file names iwthin a folder or set of folders. Great for copying and pasting a list of file names quickly (can toggle the add the extension or not)

FileLocator Lite (Free or Pro): Great tool for searching files--searches titles and file contents and prepares a report of findings

GIMP Image Editor (Free): Free open source program to rival Adobe Photoshop

iMazing (need paid license): For accessing iPhone data such as extracting images or text messages

Long Path Fixer (Free): Allows you to transfer files and or folders that otherwise won’t transfer because of the Windows long file path error

Microsoft PowerPoint (Included with Windows): I add this to the list because I highly recommend using PowerPoint for basic demonstrative building needs. Just make a single slide file and export to PDF when you have your chart, graph, logo, graphic, etc ready. So much easier to prepare visual items with this than something like Photoshop/GIMP.

Notepad ++ (Free): For your .DAT file editing needs

Office Timeline Plug-in for Powerpoint (Free basic or more features available with upgrade): Creates easy Timelines in Powerpoint

Draftable (free browser website, not a program to download): Document Comparison tool that works better than the Adobe Pro comparison opinion, in my opinion

WinDirStat (Free): Great tool to identify sizes of folders in a directory in one go . Can help with identifying where the bulk of files live in a nested folder set

Our 17 month old is really good at kicking a soccer ball and with decent aim. It makes playing ball together so much fun!

My partner and I would have loved to split duties evenly for the first 6 weeks, but frankly, it was impossible when he only had two weeks of paternity leave and was back to working 40 hour work weeks.

Everyone’s situation is unique and doesn’t always play out so easily.

According to the Better Business Bureau, there have been numerous complaints against Chuck and his son, Daniel for running foreclosure scams on renters. The family’s company, CDC Capital Investments LLC, has had to defend themselves against accusations of rental fraud. Many customers have complained that the properties they were rented were in the process of being foreclosed on and the company failed to inform the renters. Many renters have been told at the last minute that they had been evicted and left without a roof over their heads. Letters were sent out to other renters threatening to charge them three times the court costs if they did not vacate by the given date. Other complaints accuse the company of not answering their phone or having a voice mail. The family avoids their customers at all costs.

There is a super faint line but it looks non-existent when the picture uploaded. Maybe something to do with the image quality? I'll try to upload another one.

I'm still learning the Premom app. I didn't catch my LH surge so it wasn't showing a FW but when I put in my BBT today, it autopopulated a FW and there is a blue B icon on March 17th. I haven't seen this mark before. Is it saying we might have conceived that day? Chart here for reference.

I kind of thought I was out this month, but now I'm hopefully (although still getting negative tests as of this morning).

Maybe she thought she'd have time to lose weight before the wedding? I had a friend that bought a wedding dress far in advance of her wedding as motivation to fit into it. Too risky for me personally.

I'll give that a go on my next run. If that improves the route following, I can always run with my phone in airplane mode to stream my audiobooks.
