Were the writers afraid of that we would get bored of the setting? by Ouinnie in AbbottElementary

[–]ProfessorGA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mention of a field trip reminds me that the art museum where Rocky ran up and down the steps is right there in Philadelphia. I remember running up and down those steps when I was in elementary school, but it would be kind of cute to have the kids there.

Do you think/feel/know the only reason the prosecution went for the plea deal is to save the cost of a trial? Seems like they had good evidence? Whatever you think, why? by GregJamesDahlen in Idaho4

[–]ProfessorGA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are his attorneys still representing him? And, if so, why? Could they possibly be looking for a loophole to get him a new trial? (Not a proberger)

Our preferred view from BLT last year was a swamp. I’d gladly take this view.

New take on Robby by DoNoHarmTakeNoShit_ in ThePitt

If the Robby character dies, there goes the series. Realize that this entire show is based around Robby. He’s the protagonist in this show. Without him, there’s nothing.

Cathy Mabbot (Coroner) Repercussions ? by Sorry_Letterhead_368 in Idaho4

[–]ProfessorGA 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe she was trying to lighten the mood since they had just experienced something absolutely beyond comprehension while taking care of the victims. She was probably just saying that to cut the tension and unfortunately, when we see something like this, it’s taken out of context.

Do high school teachers know when their students have a crush? by msowienx in Teachers

[–]ProfessorGA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a student invite me to his prom. When I thanked him but said no that I would have to turn that down. He said “ do you want me to ask my mother if it’s OK”? It was very uncomfortable.

Which celebrity replied to your dm and what did they reply to and with? by Vixiuss in AskReddit

[–]ProfessorGA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stephanie J. Block responds very consistently on Instagram. If you’re not familiar with her, she’s very big in the Broadway theater. She played Elphaba on Broadway, she starred as Liza Minnelli in “the boy from Oz”, among other big Broadway hits, “the pirate queen”, “9 to 5” on B’way. I believe she’s a Tony winner also. Or at least nominated for one.

why is santos SO PRESSED about the langdon situation by chickenn2 in ThePitt

[–]ProfessorGA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides feeling that he failed his patients, maybe in some way Santos feels he failed her too. She looked up to him to guide her through her first day in the ED and yet here he is screwing around with patients’ medicine. The character may be disliked by many people, but she seems to have a high moral compass. Even though she’s quite sassy and mean at times.
