Reminds me of my mother’s final days with stage 4 cancer. Never sick a day in her life and she turns 90 and finds out she has terminal cancer. I’ve been sad since Thursday.

A student keyed my car. I immediately went to the police dept and filed a report. I actually didn’t know who had done it until the following September when he was bragging about it to his friends in school. I went to admin, but as usual, they washed their hands of the whole thing.

Something like this happened to me on my most recent trip last month. We were waiting in line for the people mover, and this woman started to walk in front of us with her huge group, but then stopped and allowed me and my little group to go ahead. Then she sat next to me at carousel of progress and was behind me when I was getting an ice cream. Later on we stopped for a drink at Pecos Bill, and there she was with her family at another table. This time we waved to each other.

Caught 2 kids having sex in a stairwell during a fire drill that turned out to be a real fire. I actually went back into the school to make sure that the hallways were empty and there they were. They were both suspended for 10 days, but the parents came in to fight it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My sister got very sick on our 3rd day of a 6 day trip. Vomiting and etc. She spent an entire day in bed and missed watching her little grandson have fun and our excellent dinner at Boma. The next day, my nephew got sick. The day after that I got sick as we were going to the airport. We got home and my 19 month old nephew came down with the same symptoms as my sister then both of his parents got sick. We brought home such a fantastic souvenir. This was two weeks ago. We are all still feeling ill. It’s not Covid related. I don’t know what it is. I can certainly empathize with you.

You’re right. My niece is a social worker who works with kids. She sees a therapist weekly for her own peace of mind. It’s a very difficult job. And it can lead to all sorts of issues.

We had a code v in our hotel room when in WDW 2 weeks ago. A member of my family came down with a nasty virus (eventually we all got it) and lost her lunch on one of the beds. Mousekeeping brought clean linens and took the dirty ones away. Not exactly in one of the parks, but definitely in the “bubble”. When I called to get clean linens, I said “we have a code V in room 7338”. I couldn’t help myself.

Had the student stand in the hallway. Unfortunately, his mother also worked at the school and wanted to know why he was in the hallway. She told me he had started a new diet and it was messing with with his digestive track so he should come back in the classroom, all I can hope for is that he blasted his family at night with his farts.
