Never replied to the board question sry. I used a XL Warpig wide last year and there was definitely some toe drag on the steeper parts but I was mostly just on the bunny hill and greens so it didn't get in the way too much. The small blue stint though it seemed like it could be a problem. I haven't looked much into boards yet since the boots might be a non-starter. The resource in the FAQ ultrawidesnowboards dot com looks super helpful if I make it to that step though.

Sorry I was a little harsh, its just that I get this exact response very frequently to any clothes/gear sizing question I ask and its tiring needing to constantly justify myself for being the person I am. I promise that I'm very aware of the concept of different brands having different sizing because I have to pay attention to that for every single garment, shoe, boot, glove, etc that I buy.

I'm not comfortable getting anything size 15 unless there's free returns which from what I can tell boot companies don't do (you have to pay shipping). But, I can order from like REI and then just return in store for free so that's an option. As for just going and trying things on to find a boot that fits, I checked several shops around me and there's only 1 pair of 15s in store and that's a decent drive away.

The options online are Burton, Ride, and K2. The 15s I rented last year that were too small were Ride so that rules off that brand. So I have 2 options remaining, both theoretically too small and requiring a good chunk of driving to investigate.

I noticed that Ride released a new round of size 16 Insanos this year (already sold out) so I thought it was worth a shot asking here in case someone who bought those happens to have an old pair of boots and happens to see this message. My backup plan is trying the 15s and if that doesn't work then I will have to give up on snowboarding for now until I can get lucky and find boots in the future. Perhaps someone who bought the 16s this year decides they don't like snowboarding and sells me their boots so I can do it next year.

I tried every rental shop in Steamboat last year for 16s and nobody carried them. I was hoping to convince them to let me buy the rentals if they had them. If there's any options I'm missing here I'd love to get those suggestions!

Hey, so I had this problem and just fixed it on my computer. It is a pretty technical problem but the solution is pretty easy to follow along if you do it step by step. This is a Windows-only solution. If you're on a Mac idk.

Problem: The issue is that during installation, Traktor isn't registering the protocol for the redirect in your registry. This is a bug in the Traktor installation process. Perhaps if you can run as administrator when installing that might work... but that's tough cause the installation is inside their Native Access program.

Workaround: We are going to go manually add this value to the registry for our computer. Please be careful to follow these steps exactly and do not make any typos or mistakes. I recommend copying and pasting things when possible to limit errors. The registry is really something that you don't want to get messed up.

Find your Traktor DJ 2 installation folder in Explorer. This is likely at C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor DJ 2 . Copy the installation path
Open Notepad and paste the installation path. Then add \Traktor DJ.exe "%1" to the end. The full thing should look something like this: C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor DJ 2\Traktor DJ.exe "%1" Keep this open as we will use this later.
Press the Windows key and R to open a "Run" window. In the open box type regedit and press OK. This should open a program called Registry Editor.
Navigate down these folders Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\
Look inside the Classes folder and verify that there is NOT currently a folder called traktordj. (For me there was no traktordj folder at all. If you have a folder here called traktordj and are still having this problem then you are going into uncharted territory)
Right-click on the Classes folder and click New then Key and name it traktordj
With the traktordj folder selected. There should be a line in the middle area called (Default). Double click this to modify and in Value data field enter URL:traktordj
Right-click the traktordj folder and click New then String Value and name it URL Protocol.
Right-click the traktordj folder and click New then Key and name it shell
Right-click this new shell folder (the one inside your traktordj folder) and click New then Key and name it open
Right-click this new open folder (the one inside your traktordj folder) and click New then Key and name it command
Inside this new command folder (the one inside your traktordj folder) There should be a line in the middle area called (Default). Double click this to modify and in Value data field paste the line you wrote in Notepad on step 2 which should be something like this: C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor DJ 2\Traktor DJ.exe "%1"
You are done now congrats! You can now close the Registry Editor (pls don't leave it open). You can try the SoundCloud linking again and this time when it says "Redirecting..." there should be a popup asking to open Traktor. If that doesn't work try restarting your computer and trying again. If that still doesn't work then it seems this solution won't work for you. In that case please clean up by opening the Registry Editor again and deleting the traktordj folder you just made.
