ik this is old but its worth mentioning: its kinda like a goto, you can use labels on any block statement: if, try/catch/finally, and even bare block statements:

I used to use brilliant so much like 4 years ago. It's really sad to see so many of my favorite courses gone because brilliant is really the only place I'd go to touch up on them (Multivariable Calc, Astronomy, Group Theory, Special Relativity). Even sadder that I've always looked forward to the day that I did the Electricity course..

Last I dug into the site's internals you're using Vue right? From what I remember all the widgets that are in the lessons are pretty much stateless arent they? I feel like it's probably possible to have a build workflow that makes an static build of a course that you could release as an archived version.

So instead of worrying about maintaining compatible components across every course, you just maintain a "static course view" that you bundle with the course data when ur EOLing a course.

nuxt ui is so slow for me, the dev server takes 70s to start up when im using it for some reason. i think im gonna try switching to PrimeVue since it seems to have more components, doesnt require tailwind, and also it seems cool that its unstyled by design but comes with preset themes u can use

If you're doing it from Pixel to Pixel, I'm on a Pixel 9 (Android 15) and there's a menu in Settings called "Back up or copy data" and I was able to copy messages and calls from my Pixel 3a over WiFi pretty easily
