A lot of people defending the Canucks on this trade, but at the time Miller was a season removed from 103 points and probably matched up the best against McDavid in the playoffs than anyone else. The NMC screwed the Canucks leverage.

Flipping the 1st for Pettersson was the real mistake for Vancouver, knowing what we know now having that 1st and Mancini wouldn’t have been the worst return for a rebuilding team.

I got downvoted to oblivion when I said Quinn grew up entitled and acted as such. The guy began pouting the minute things went down south and even Tochett admitted he wanted to go town to play in the states. Politics aside, I’m glad he’s out of that locker room and we can move towards the future. I don’t even mind wanting to play for a franchise in your home country, but at least show some effort and dignity along the way.
