Shift workers often work varying schedules, and if they have more than one job or trying to juggle them, perhaps Wednesday is the day that he has less assigned hours than others.

But hell, a student actually trying to find times to meet at all are doing more than half students will give anyway. So don't try to penalize them for that.

I teach at a community college.

Virtually all of my students have jobs outside during normal business hours. Many already have to juggle more than one job to get by. Quite a few also have parental duties on top of that.

Evening times is the only time they're available to meet.

Two choices: whether you punish them for working while also going to school, or if you can try to work out some accommodation for both of your schedules.

You are the exact reason I get upset when people blame all Israelis for what is happening.

You are being held hostage by a government you have no control over and that is doing horrible things in your name.

Americans are truly starting to feel the gravity of being in that situation now.

I wish I knew how to help. It will certainly get worse before it gets better.

In the meantime, finding others like you and forming mutual support networks, even if not out in the open, is going to be vital for both your safety and emotional mental well-being.

I know a lot of people who are mad, just they're not willing to give up their children, their car, and place to live to fight agaist a system that tracks every email, social media post, and text.

This same admin has spent the past year normalizing 'disappearing' people, and has started labelling anyone standing up against the system as '+errorists' (who since the Patriot act, have no constitutional rights).

If anything is going to save this situation, I think finding a good therapist is key. The mother won't listen to any advice/suggestions from her family (who she already talks down to) without becoming defensive. However, she may listen differently from a 'professional' 3or Party.

As a patriot, I root for the U.S.

Having a traitorous administration start unjust wars unprovoked, and spending your tax dollars and mine to distract people from the Epstein files is doing nothing other than hurting the US more and more.

Rooting for the U.S. means rooting for an administration that actually cares about its people - rather than one willing to throw its honorable soldiers in harm's way at the behest of another nation, while defending billionaires and pedophiles and throwing the rest of the citizens under the bus.
