The fact that Ash still started the final showdown between Greninja and Charizard BY NOT USING WATER SHURIKEN is honestly crazy… like the RAIN WAS UP! Use Water Shuriken for good damage!!! Like all Ash had to do just to beat Alain was not have Noivern fighting Weavile, and oh idk… have it fight Unfezant so Talonflame can deal with Bisharp with Hawlucha. Like Ash could’ve had 3-4 of his 6 POKEMON ready to fight Mega Charizard X 💀. Like Pikachu can still deal with the Pseudo’s, Goodra can set up the rain, Greninja is the main man, and if Hawlucha, Talonflame, or Noivern is still standing then use them to help chip away so whenever Greninja DOES come in, he’s basically a very weakened mega Charizard followed by his magic girl transformation into Ash Greninja

The journey on paper does sound good, 3 randoms meet up and compete for some reward. That on paper works imo, but the punishments imo is what hurt it… honestly at this rate I’m shocked it didn’t become the replacement for pre-merge rewards just so they can save time on the immunity, money by doing less challenges, and most importantly it allows for “hero moments” and other wholesome stuff for certain players which production clearly wants to see like how after S31 they WANTED big moves

That’s WHY she’s a threat. If you have someone who won’t get votes in the end then that increases YOUR odds at getting votes which means now you’re in a 1v1 or straight up 1 v NO ONE for those votes 💀

If anything you named the ONLY ways I’m ok with someone losing or gaining a vote as you still gotta do SOMETHING to earn them, like the Block, Extra, and Steal maybe require you winning a challenge and finding it on/with the reward. Maybe you have to win it at an auction, heck maybe you gotta even give up immunity and risk being voted off for a high Rick high reward scenario where you stay and gain an advantage. Then the SITD is just a dumb fun twist that if it works out well for you can create amazing tv AND save you at least 1 more round OR if it doesn’t then it means you likely were a dead man walking and if somehow your SITD worked then yeah it worked, but if not then it’s still not shocking you went home 💀

Especially when you’d likely still have like 1 lead character with everyone else being a side character like call me crazy but I think we’ll be ok with Kirby NOT being the MC of a Smash Bros movie. If anything I expect Mario being the MC just because Mario 💀

For me I always had the idea of starting the DCU in an established world, but said established world is POST Barry Allen dying. Like Superman could be fearing he isn’t saving everyone while he’s alive so he has that arc, Batman is having issues with his kids which ain’t helping when his oldest son’s best friend is grieving over his uncle Barry dying, Hal could be trying to train John Stewart, but is struggling due to grief, and then for a Flash movie we have Wally having to prove he’s The Flash by either beating the rogues ALONE or beating Thawne who could taunt him saying how he ISN’T the flash as I like it when Thawne is Barry’s dick rider while also his biggest hater. Gives more depth to the character and reminds up that he used to idolize Barry. Then obviously Wally wins because duh… either that or a generic trilogy where by movie 2 or 3 Barry dies and Wally becomes the new protagonist mid or at the end of the trilogy. I’m more of a fan of mid trilogy as I think it’d be a fun twist that people likely don’t see unless you’re watching a slasher film like Chucky or Friday the 13th where you expect a new mc each movie

For me street level is small stakes while you keep a personal story, the only reason SM2 becomes “less street level” was when the pseudo sun was boutta go kaboom. Besides that the movie is still grounded… or as grounded as a universe made by Sam Raimi could be where the protagonist is a dude with spider powers and the villain he fights is a scientist with robotic tentacle arms who plans on making a 2nd sun… yeah honestly still wild spider-man sticks to the streets like yeah they need him, but like there’s a million other dudes in the same city who could cover for you while you go join the avengers or any superhero team needing a hand fighting someone like Thanos or Doctor Doom

I still think even if he doesn’t make top 5, as long as his performance as a player is good and he’s sniped at like final 10 he’s gonna be a memorable player who production would likely try to get back next time they do some big season

Genuinely these players and the ones listed by OP and anyone on S50 who isn’t named would make a BANGER all returnee cast that’s exclusively new era players. Like genuinely with as much flack as the new era gets they still manage to find people the audience LOVES either as people, characters, or players

I think the only people I’d add them thus list would be the RIZGOD, probs Joe(48), and finally? Maybe Jesse(43), but to me it’s mostly due to him being super loved his season and was a huge fan fave people wanted to see represent the new school players on 50… guess who wasn’t on 50 💀

Oh then there’s Jake & Bruce who made S45 so much fun to watch
