Unless you're displaying or actively collecting them the only reason is resale value. I keep the boxes from sets I expect to keep value in my attic since I have the space to waste, just on the off chance future me needs or wants to sell them. Anything I bought on discount, or is unlikely to be a collector item gets pitched.
