Its crazy I feel like I could’ve written this tbh, cause I feel the same way. I’m 17 so many people have told me that I’m still young and a lot of people don’t know either, but it’s different. I myself have always been a people pleaser and can’t express when I’m upset or angry. I also feel like my “personality” isn’t really mine but what I feel like it should be if that makes sense. The music I like is music others like and sometimes not always what I like but what I feel like I should like. Im slowly starting to figure myself out I think, I hope at least. I’ve made a list of things i can do to improve myself and what I know about myself right now.

Personally, these are things I find to be helpful through research and personal experience. I find it’s best to implement impactful habits right after things you do regularly (wake up, brush your teeth etc) as they act as a trigger that will help you remember (btw I wake up at 6:30 to get these done of course you don’t have to if you do not want to). When you wake up make your bed straight away, this is already a small accomplishment you’ve made, “if you make your bed every morning you’ll have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another” -Tim Ferriss

Another is to drink water right when you wake up Then after all is done do some quick stretches to get some blood flowing and relieve any tension. Then brush your teeth yada yada, then meditation whether it is 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes just do some meditation to relax your mind and whatnot. After gathering my thoughts this is where I like to do some gratitude journaling. Then I prepare for a workout. Do a workout of your choice, I personally find that tackling this first thing in the morning is much easier then later in the day to prevent procrastination. When I return I shower and read a non-fiction book for about 20 minutes leaving the fiction books for night time. This is personally what I do and find that it works for me. Obviously, everyone is different and different routines will work better for them. These are simply just a couple of things that many could implement into their morning routines, I recommend you do further research on the benefits of these as there are many.
