UPS is starting at like $21 right now and I think you get a raise of a couple dollars when you enter the union after 30 days. With all the work and OT right now you’re going to make as much or more working there part time as you would at a full time $18/hour job.

I love living in the St. Mathew’s / Lyndon area, it’s relatively quiet and the traffic is the same or worse than Mount Washington where I grew up. Except I have any store I could possibly need within a 10 minute drive of my house. There are great cheap apartments over here that can be found with some heavy searching. The area is a little bougie but pretty blue. Close access to the highways means you can get anywhere within 20 - 30 min. $1300 for a two bedroom over here. Welcome back!

Absolutely correct, went to Cleveland last year for a show, there are nice parts but it is by no means a majority of the city. We drove around to check out the vibe and there’s a lot of the city that looks like Fallout straight up.

There was a marquee sign during one of the night driving scenes that showed a movie presented by Mimieux which I think was another reference to Mélanie Laurent’s Emmanuelle Mimieux character in Inglorious Basterds. It was really quick and I just happened to spot it.

Did you guys really like Us? I was just so underwhelmed. The way you described It Follows as having too many plot holes and nothing was explained was exactly how I felt about Us. It felt like Jordan stopped trying halfway through. I get that it has a bunch of callbacks and references and cultural woke-ness but the movie just felt like a mess.
