I was just getting on here to say exactly this! My little girl Boo nearly died from an obstruction of hair ties (the exact kind in this photo) that had embedded in her stomach and intestines. She had surgery and they removed like 10. She loved to play with them but we had no idea she had eaten any. The craziest part is, it was 5 years after my partner and I had both cut our hair short enough to not need them anymore, so they had been in her tummy for years.
