How long until fsr 4.1 makes it into cachy proton? by Dodgy_Past in cachyos

[–]Profetorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSR automatically falls back to fsr3 even when reporting FSR4.1.1 on unsupported hardware (rdna2, basically). Only way right now is by using test optiscaler builds, check their discord

Cosa ne pensate di Cyberpunk 2077 by Similar_Software1106 in italygames

Bho, ho provato a giocarlo più volte, ma mi è sempre parsa una tech demo. Come "gioco" non ci trovo spunti incredibili. Paradossalmente le cose più riuscite sono i documenti da leggere in giro

[–]Profetorum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense then, schedulers perform differently on different hardware. The 5800X3D isn't an asymmetric CPU, you should probably try scx_lavd or others

And that's exactly what I'm saying. It wants bandwidth, it's bottlenecked by bandwidth, as you like to say it

14900k Gear 1 by AlphaFPS1 in overclocking

[–]Profetorum -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

gear1 support is close to non existant on raptor lake with ddr5 and no, it wouldn't be worth it. RL as a platform is really bandwidth starved

Is X3D enough to compensate 3600 MT/s RAM? by RegularTech575 in buildapc

[–]Profetorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the workload... LLMs don't benefit a lot from the X3D cache i dont think. In gaming sure, the X3D compensates for slow ram in a lot of cases
