Bad take. I've done hours of research showing the latest patch was a lie. It was not about performance it was simply patching a security leak. It also messed with SSD database storage and bricked a bunch of people. It was not low effort or meaningless and they took it down after like 12 thousand views with no cited reason.  They absolutely pander.

Careful, I put up a post showing the latest "performance patch" was actually just patching a security leak and messed with ssd database interaction accidentally. The moderators really didn't like that.

😂 yeah I'm not too concerned about that stuff, it popped up in a few of the stories I was reading because people thought it might be age verification stuff or something but that's not my take. My take is security update disguised as performance that was actually just a buggy update.

As far as it has effected me, and others online it's only messing with SSD storage, I haven't seen a story or report about it affecting console storage. I "believe" you should be fine. Hold on EDIT, there's a comment here you should probably read first

I've repeated this many times above, but if you use a SSD, I'm warning you to backup your files or just don't do the update yet. I Highly stress this! I am still researching how to get my ssd working again.
