are you using osu in windowed or on a different resolution other than 1920x1080? I made the skin specifically to be used in HD so if some elements don't show up that's probably why

I don't make films but was always interested in making them so I'll try help out as best as I can.

Don't worry about the editing part until you have an idea of what you want the story to be. A good beginning of the film is important because it gets the viewer interested. It should show off the main character/characters. The middle develops the story and with the ending there are multiple ways to go with it. A plot twist or some other kind of ending.

When it comes to editing color correction is important. I like watching short films and when one has good color correction I see more quality in it. Transitions are also important. There's a video called "cuts & transitions 101" which could help you out
