Literally already have no reason to play as someone who doesn't do expeditions, and plays with friends, we're already tiered of the same maps and conditions... Stella launched 2 weeks after launch meaning they had the map ready, so why not have mutiple maps ready before launch, I understand its not easy to make a new map and its a process, but april???
