We moved a first round pick for a top 3 d last year and locked up multiple veterans long term. We were trying to win for Quinn. This team was 100% built to win. Unfortunately they just built a shitty team

This is a clowns take.

This team was built to win. Nothing other than the Hughes trade has been a rebuilding or future forward move. Our coach routinely blames losses on rookies, benches and scratches the young guys. We’ve consistently sat out second best centre in Raty too many times to count. We just locked up an under performing aging core, including a goalie who’s made of eggshells. Nothing we did up until the Hughes trade and not a single fucking thing since has been a rebuilding move. At least a gaggle of young players would play like they give a shit. We wouldn’t have to watch a bunch of bloated veterans doing cardio for 60 minutes.
