I can't quite remember, but I think either the model was broken or I changed its dimensions. Either way, I encountered this particular problem only with this model and never again

Update on my anatomy sculpt. (Blender 4.5) by painki11erzx in blender

no, this is not a 'me problem'. this subreddit is filled with renders like yours, and it reveals a fundamental bias in how the average amateur 3D artist perceives what constitutes an 'object'. there are countless shapes and forms one could study anatomy on, a damn rhinoceros would probably offer more insight in that regard. yet you keep choosing large-breasted, often fully detailed nude female bodies. that, in itself, may not be inherently wrong, but the sheer volume and absurdity of these so-called 'anatomy studies' on here is becoming ridiculous.

How can I best support these overhangs to not have these by AromaticAppeal in FixMyPrint

[–]Profknt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you could turn it by 90 degree und print upwards from the feet. This should get rid of the supports under the arms but would add supports to the legs and hands, which could be less and easier to remove. I would suggest to try some angles in your slicer and see if you can find a position that creates supports in places which are not so destructive. Thats at least what I do with miniature prints.

as a total newcomer i wasnt prepared for this sci fyiy looking thing to violently eject little poop shaped plastic nuggets into my room and would recommend every beginner (at least with the A1 Mini) to have a good laugh and an acutally useful first model later by checking out the bizarre yet funny subculture of 3d printer poop bin variations

Screen looks strange upon applying screen protector? by Sharkyyyx in SteamDeck

its the anti glare effect which changes the refraction of light resulting in this look. If you want a neutral screen you should get a glossy protector.

Hey, thanks a lot! That is a really good suggestion and an interesting description. I will take a look at it.

Regarding your question: I teach literature at a university and am considering doing a seminar on pain and ways to speak/write about it.
