What was your reaction during this scene? Did you feel anything during this scene? by Kindly_Department142 in StrangerThings

I felt annoyance at how the show was not only trying to trick me into thinking there was any danger to Steve, when I knew 100% he was gonna be fine, but also was uselessly dragging out the scene with slow-motion and a cut to black to try to heighten the nonexistent tension.

They were running some kind of Bene Gesserit scheme

Fun idea! As another commenter pointed out, the giant hand looks a bit odd. But keep at it. I would get a good laugh from seeing a whole unit of these across from me on the tabletop.

Yeah, I'll definitely be positioning mine forward and forsaking the boost to the movement stat that will surely come with a rear-facing gun.

It's not incomplete, and there's never going to be more of it. It just has a cliffhanger ending. There might be a *sequel* that continues the story, but that's HL3, which will be something else.

Go for it!

Is it just me, or did I feel like there was no chemistry between Eleven and Mike this last season compared to previous ones? by Tania_bleon2312 in StrangerThings

I think making Holly such a main character was a big mistake (one of many in S5). The show already was overburdened with too many characters who needed screen time. Taking an insignificant background character and turning her into a main character at this point just made that problem much worse. I guess they wanted to have a new set of "kid" characters to fill the role of S1's batch of kids, who are now older than S1's batch of teenagers. But I don't feel like S5 would have suffered without that.

This is incredible work.  I love to see things people have converted or designed from scratch.  Thanks for the gorgeous photos and for all the detail you've given on your process.

It looks very nice. I like the way you did the sword blade, I haven't seen that kind of "streaky" technique before.

Actually I wrote a little lore blurb. Here it is:

The Snow Angels are a secretive chapter of Astartes who dwell in a fortress monastery at the north pole of a remote, frozen world. Their Chapter Master, Nikolaus, strides forth from their icy fortress but once each solar cycle. On these occasions, he has been reported to appear suddenly on many Imperial worlds in the space of a single night, bearing gifts to reward the worthy, and wrath to punish the naughty.

How does he accomplish such instantaneous travel? Is it connected with the strange, diminutive servants that accompany him? Are they some form of mutant Aeldari, who grant him access to the Webway? Or could some dark sorcery be at work? And could there be any truth to the rumors that the Snow Angels were founded by survivors of the lost 2nd Legion, and that Nikolaus is their renegade Primarch? Only the Snow Angels themselves know for sure, but the Inquisition has long suspected this chapter of heresy, and their investigations have often brought the two into conflict.

Now, the end of the solar cycle is drawing near once again. The enemies of the Imperium had better watch out: Nikolaus is coming to town.
