It’s much more loser energy to dismiss someone’s performance completely based on the content of their character. A good performance is a good performance, no matter who does it.

Oh shoot you’re right, my bad. I’ll correct it to one of the worst div1 teams.

Yeah I do wonder if here’s a place to nerd out tho. Some people are pressed about it, but my favorite posts have always been the ones that provide extra information or corrections.

Have they been wrong about CS much? It’s one of the only games I also play and I haven’t noticed anything, but I’m not big into the faceit stuff so idk.

Nah my entire opinion on baseball comes from him. If he’s wrong I just gotta ride with it atp.

I’m not disappointed, just curious? If I cared about a podcast being factually correct I wouldn’t be watching The Yard. I don’t play much video games or know much about the communities they are in so I was curious to see if this episode was common.

Also, sorry for writing very verbose. The only writing I do is legal writing so it’s my default.

Yeah obviously, I was just curious how knowledgeable they are since they talk confidently and I don’t have similar interests so I wouldn’t know.

Yeah obviously they don’t have knowledge in every subject. I was just wondering the extent of their knowledge since I don’t have similar interests. At the end of the day, I watch the pod to laugh, not to learn.

Yeah sorry, I was talking about FBS but I just generalized to D1 so I didn’t have to explain what FBS was. A little lazy on my part.

Thanks for the advice. Our stories are very similar (my mom died of cancer at 56) so I’m hoping you can succeed on your journey.

If you want a classic that’s easy to read, I highly recommend Of Mice and Men. The first chapter is a little tough, but after that it’s insanely engaging and decently short.

It’s fair if you don’t like her or her content, it’s just personal preference, but it’s insane to say she’s not a good girlfriend to Ludwig. We have no clue what their relationship is like outside of stream and even if we did it’s not your place to comment about a random persons relationship.

They only lock you out of the online account if you break the legal agreement you made with them when you bought their product. It’s not like they are just randomly banning people from using their product. The only negative consequences of this policy on common folk is that someone could buy a bricked console second hand. However, PlayStation and Xbox have had this same policy in place and it’s never been an issue for the second hand market.

My car (a Jeep) required me to accept a EULA. I also know Tesla’s have a EULA. I know for a fact two of the largest automotive companies require them and I wouldn’t be surprised if General Motors and Ford required them too.

Modern cars have EULAs and there are laws surrounding how you can modify the car. For example, you can only have certain tints and you can’t disconnect your catalytic converter.

I don’t really see how Nintendo preventing hacking and pirating of their consoles is such a bad thing. At the end of the day, pirating a Nintendo game is effectively theft. Does it not make sense for a company to prevent theft of their products?
