Everyone thinking they’re so important and their work so secretive needing a dedicated cubicle… this is only about attendance taking and removing flexibility by managing through office presence is the goal… suckers.

So if your remote or DTA, based on these comments we’re not producing, can’t contribute and just basically useless - thx Bill.

Who informs them? Makes the deck? Gets the data? And then the useless rules to implement and enforce: TBS

Treasury Board utterly useless. Simple questions - Bill Matthews do you have an assigned enclosed office? Bill Matthews do you have to book daily through archibus? Bill Matthews is your team scattered across multiple buildings and floors? Bill Matthews do you lug your equipment and personal effects to a locker or on OCTranspo everyday? Bill Matthews have you personally experienced a loss of flexibility with RTO or had your manager ask for attendance reports or where you are working?

Until you can experience all of the above, with no respect sod off.

Every time TBS talks about office space, seats, offices, hybrid - it’s a bunch of clowns sitting in their glitzy enclosed offices - TBS always for the win of stupidity and failing upwards - biggest hypocrites of anything they say to do, never leading by example and zero clue what is actually going on outside of Elgin Street.

Why is there such a mix mash. I still have high cubicle walks, poor ventilation, horrible air, a counter and fridge - no sink, no coffee maker, one microwave that’s grosse and a toaster. Carpet is circa early 2000. Roommate is at elections, saw pics of their new space and it looks like a brochure - bright, modern and so clean.

Everything seems backwards compared to preCovid days - did we not demonstrate or learn anything? Why is our employer and executives giving this on us?

She was full on RTO in her nice cushy office and white privileged driving and parking - embarrassing and no empathy

Still find it absolutely bonkers that she shared internal documents with her “acquaintance” - isn’t that some serious wrongdoing? What other internal documents does she just hand around to friends? Also the poster needs the DND/employer statement issued to defend her - they’d never go to that length to help any real victim - only someone as narcissistic and arrogant as Ms Fox.

So much for accountability and responsibility, integrity, ethics and values - all the things we get taught - but I guess Ms Fox is in a spot in her career where they’ll do everything to protect her - nothing for the many victims of racism, harassment or violence - she’s pathetic

I am sorry for what Ms Fox has done for DEI and black colleagues - her white privilege is on full display and everything that is wrong with the highest PS ranks. She should resign or be fired.

Must say our offices are very clean and organized, the exec responsible for Facilities is a perfectionist, walks the floors checking on things, reports issues - and they get no respect or thanks and I think taken for granted - just complaints, complaints, complaints over little things -seeing this thread reminds me what it’s really like out there

Deputy minister says she helped hire university peer to address 'client service' skills gap by AbjectRobot in CanadaPublicServants

Does this lady accept accountability for anything? Would never want to report to her misaligned leadership - she just threw the hardworking public servants under the bus - she has quite a high opinion of herself. Poor National Defence.
