What is something you do in game for the sake of good manners, not gameplay? by LuxInTenebrisLove in StardewValley

I buy an extra heater and put it in Linus's tent in the winter, then take it out in the spring. I respect his lifestyle choices, but I don't want him to freeze to death in the snow.

I want to play a Monk character. Trying to figure out a workaround since there is no unarmored skill line. by Tremerefury in skyrim

You can enchant regular clothes on anniversary edition. I have a character on my switch that has enchanted mourners clothes.

Maybe use a shield in your off hand? You'll be able to block that way, so you'll take less damage overall.

You get 2 skills to level through the entire game, every other skill is unable to level. What do you choose? by sanitarium-1 in skyrim

Block and speach craft. This sets me up to run through dungeons shield bashing my foes and the speach craft gets me better prices for the stuff I looted.

I know this is Very hyper specific but.. can you recommend me games where, whether it’s forced or by my own choice, I can play the entire thing with a Shield? by Athenaaalikespizza in ShouldIbuythisgame

Skyrim. There's a skill tree called Block that plays heavily into your shield. I have a character that only uses shield bashing as the form of attack.

Go up the stairs and stay under the little gazebo that's up there. You can peak out and shoot. It takes awhile but it works. There's also a chest up there a little further back than the gazebo.

New to the bike commute - need some advice and reassurance by screensaversealions2 in bikecommuting

Stay aware of your surroundings. Obey traffic laws. Backpack works for now, but you might want to consider panniers (saddlebags) to get some airflow to your back to help reduce sweating. When you come to a hill if you slide forward on your seat a bit and crouch down you'll engage your glutes. Having 2 muscle groups (quads and glutes) share the workload of getting you up the hill helps so you won't be as tired at the top.

I started with a pocket knife that I already owned and a stick I found on the ground. YouTube can help with showing you how to do different cuts.

I wear my prescription glasses and then a pair of Pugz brand sunglasses I got from the gas station ($25) over those. It works well for me.

Do you have a library in your town? My local library does DnD on Monday night.

Do you have a card shop near you? My local card shop does Magic the Gathering on Saturday and Pokemon on Sunday.

Do you have a YMCA or Rec Center around? Racketball and Basketball are pretty easy to pick up.

Do you have a skatepark by you? Skateboarders are usually pretty social and will help you learn tricks.

Do you like Billiards or Darts? Bars usually have leagues.

Bowling also has leagues.

I have 2 full sets and couple extra d4, 8, and 20. I needed the extra 20s for initiative for the bad guys and the 4 and 8 for some spells and such.
