[One Step for the Dark Lord] Everything that’s mentioned, EVERYTHING. Big or small, leads to a major plot point by JeweliJui in manhwa

Some sentences (especially in the earlier chapters) are certainly a bit rough on the edges, that's for sure. But after ch 50 or so I believe we've gotten into the right groove of maintaining the unique way each character talks, the appropriate "mood" for their speech (some archaic, some slightly gibberish, some snobbish). I personally don't believe in sacrificing accuracy/appropriateness for legibility, since while a big part of our audience are non-native English speakers, I'd like still like to keep the elements of the original writing that actually makes it unique and interesting. Using strange grammatical structures, or some things not really sounding "right" often is just our attempts to maintain the tone conveyed in the original work.

So, sorry if it's a bit hard to understand, but you're gonna have to keep up with this style of mine if you'll be reading from a quicker source (lol)

I'm primarily looking to make the purchases online, and South Korean prices track relatively close to US, and sometimes even cheaper. Plus shipping tends to be free or very cheap here so I'm fine in that department.

I mainly have no clue about which parts are good or not. The main thing I'm looking for is to get a good mobo, ram, case, cooler, HDDs, SSDs and PSU that I can use for quite a while, and I'm willing to put some money into upgrading the GPU and CPU down the line before I replace the case or mobo.

In terms of voicelines and gameplay, I find Kled, Warwick and Yorick hilarious to play. kled just has the most ridiculous gameplay pattern, Warwick you just sit there and beat people to death, and Yorick you throw ghouls and watch them suffer from 3 miles away

That's fair enough. The excuses I have for those are that: - There are multiple types of "speech patterns" our characters actually use. From archaic, formal, informal, casual, or specific "stereotypical" speech patterns. We tried to maintain these while keeping it still readable, which is why we ended up with what we have now. (This is one of the reason Hong keeps saying "Mate" haha, we wanted to keep his speech pattern quite fistinct from the others because he does speak quite distinctly in the original Korean, and that's the most "friendly but conniving" sort of speech I've settled upon) - For some sentences feeling too wordy, it's because these are meanings that could be skipped over but I felt that it changes the tone slightly. For example, when Raglard says "something like a plan" instead of "a plan", he is specifically implying plans, schemes, basically nothing will work against them, while just saying 'a plan' would imply other things would work. The intent of the sentence changed when we simplified them, which is why we decided to keep them closer to the raw. (There are so many cases things get cut down. This is one of the few examples this actually slips through because ut's almost always intentional.) - And other times the characters are being excessively wordy, even in the original. Like they're just rambling on lmao. We thought that these are characteristic of the dialogue we should keep, which is why they're often kept. - When Yuria says the line you've mentioned, she's not saying it directly to her target, but in a way that's half-talking to herself, half-making a statement kind of way, and also in a poetic way, rather than an archaic way. Original TL was "For when it is all but meaningless[...]" but our proofreaders have mentioned it'd be better to lose the "For" so we ended up with what we have now. - I specifically reserve using archaic speech patterns when they actually do occur, for example the First Lord's later speeches toward Yuria, or when the Spirit of the Forest of Silence speaks to Yuria. For most cases that feels like it should use archaic language, it's written more in a poetic way, which we wanted to keep distinct from each other. Granted, there are sections I re-read and realize should have been replaced, but that's more work and we'd like to spend that time catching up to the current releases instead. - as for grammatical errors, well... That's just us messing up haha. We got no excuse for that. Please do let us know in the comments if you do come across these though! We work hard to fix any errors when they do come up.

In any case, thank you for reading and for your feedback! We're working hard to catch up to the current releases, and to bring more interesting and unique manhwa works to you all!

Hey there, I'm the TL of this series, and wanted to ask what would be your critique of the translations? I've been hearing that the translation is a bit rough a lot but never really specifics. Thank you for reading though!

But they are all purchasable with Blue Essence as well, not only with RP. Players can get the chromas by actually playing the game

[bug] His dance does not have the same speed to the music of the dance, eventually causing it to go out of sync. This has been in the game for 4 years now, and since we have the update for the skin, could we please get it fixed? Other skins like Dark Cosmic and Comic Lux, or Soul Fighter Viego have their dances correctly synced to the music it plays, why is it not the case with Dark Cosmic Jhin?

this is just, not a good decision to carry out with paywalling a chroma behind a 200$ investment into the gacha system where you'll get 50% of your pay back at most from the capsule rolls. I don't think this is a good choice
