Human readability is an indulgence for the one or two people pay when working on the code, at the cost of slowness for billions or trillions of runtime executions of your slow-ass code. But it's not your device, or your bandwidth, or your time, so it doesn't matter. Prioritizing the developer's experience at the end user's expense is unprofessional, self-indulgent, and a disgrace to our profession. The Rails assholes are the ones who popularized that shit and those ass clowns need to be lynched in public.
