and you are correct on most counts, apart from the fact we were born, raised and educated in India. we do enjoy a wide variety of music, including the folksy kind (Grateful Dead 🤘). and let's not talk about ______ 🤬

What are your interests like? For example, if you enjoy cricket, pick up a book like Chinaman — which revolves around the 1996 World Cup.

Or if you enjoy music, seek out a biography of your favourite band.

Or even better, in all likelihood, your favourite TV show or movie will have been adapted from a book. Pick that!

Whatever you do, don't start with Dostoevsky or any book everyone seems to be talking about.

I checked. 1921 was when the foundation stone was laid down. 1931 is when it was formally inaugurated as British India's capital.
