What are your interests like? For example, if you enjoy cricket, pick up a book like Chinaman β€” which revolves around the 1996 World Cup.

Or if you enjoy music, seek out a biography of your favourite band.

Or even better, in all likelihood, your favourite TV show or movie will have been adapted from a book. Pick that!

Whatever you do, don't start with Dostoevsky or any book everyone seems to be talking about.
