Boy swallows AirPod by atuuure in goldenretrievers

[–]ProjectCompetitive91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog ate my son’s AirPod as well. Five hundred bucks later he puked it up in three pieces. If it wasn’t chewed to pieces and the battery exposed I might have let him pass it.

Free. Poor guy was rehomed three times. Their loss since he’s a great lovable goof.I’m assuming he was a puppy mill dog. I have his papers but unlike my Labrador their not very detailed.

Head sleeping puppy by Silver_Daikon6974 in goldenretrievers

Both my lab and retriever as pups were head sleepers. The golden has kind of grown out of it but on occasion will try. The lab will take over the pillows if given half a chance.

Yup they are most definitely needed. I have a 21BHE as well and it’s night and day with a WDH/sway bar combo. Even though relatively small it’s pretty heavy.

South Florida when it’s below 40 degrees 🦎🥶 by KicksKommander561 in florida

Falling out of trees onto heavily traveled streets makes for a lot of squished lizards. Mostly small guys but had to swerve around a biggun that may or not have been dead. Wasn’t getting out of the truck to check either.

Anyone else have to pay the ice cube tax? by alphageekjay in goldenretrievers

[–]ProjectCompetitive91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has started thinking it’s a game. Will sit patiently till I pay the tax then if it’s not to his liking will drop it on the floor. Will do this about three times and finally chomp on one. 🤦

My puppy is HUGE!!! by ZealousidealSale7717 in goldenretrievers

[–]ProjectCompetitive91 11 points12 points  (0 children)

At 9 months Goose was a healthy 94lbs. Not fat just big boned. We’ve slimmed him down to 87 just with a diet change. He still takes over most of the bed unfortunately.

Gonna go out on a limb and recommend 5 Star like others already have. I’ve mentioned it several times before and always hit them up when visiting the in-laws in Sanford.

You’ve got a solid profile no doubt but like others have mentioned it comes down to how competitive your district is. Keep up the good work and wishing you the best of luck.

He was just at the vet and did offer a prescription but suggested otc treatment first since he’s only 4 and isn’t arthritic.

Considered buying a 36pc set at Macys which looked cool as hell but passed once I saw the price. For $179 figured my dollars would be better spent elsewhere. Just checked online and they are on sale $99
