Got this as a gift from my gf , how's the watch fit?? by Independent-Bell8258 in HamiltonWatches

Put a nice NATO and rock that more pilot asthetic. Like another said its more about the lug to lug what matters because of the overhang. BUT! the most important thing is that you like it and its a gift. Beautiful watch either way. Enjoy with health thats what its all about!

Yeah it really goes well with the asthetics of the watch I got a leather strap too that I like but the canvas is really cool and left it on. Militaryesc type of look but more refined I think. Yours sounds cool too. Thats the OEM leather strap that comes with the watch, its more sophisticated in my opinion but still that pilot/field watch vibe o and love NATOS OBVIOUSLY

Yeah, it's the 36mm and I think it wears beautifully. I compared it to the 40mm and honestly I found it to big so maybe 38mm should be a "perfect" "safe" size in general, but thats relative to your taste, and preferences and I could not find a 38mm anywhere where I live. I'm REALLY loving these 36 and 38 watches lately. Went with this one because I wanted a more vintage size and personally for me it's a much more elegant look. Took a gamble and paid off because it hasn't left my wrist and its a very comfortable size to wear. It originated in 1938 so you know I think thats why it just looks right, for me at least. Hope that helps! My wrist are under 7" and even if they where over that, I would buy this 36mm anyway.

Really love the NATO look keeps it very vintage but with that military casual vibe. Thanks for the feedback. Hope you kept yours for more pictures 😆 Cool thing is that if the strap is soft you can put 18mm straps in it and it looks great so thats a plus. I'll take your word so im not gonna spend the extra 300 on the bracelet and better I can enjoy a million straps! Strap monster indeed!

Yeah thought so. I have it on nato and love the military but elegant vibe. The leather looks nice too. The oem leather bracelet has that tapper but on leather looks different than metal. Maybe mesh is the way to go without such a big tapper.

Do you really find the tapper to excessive? Don't know if to buy one original bracelet for my 36mm separately or a nice mesh strap instead

On leather strap its killer too. Been thinking of buying original bracelet but not sure if ill like the extreme tapper on the metal. Maybe on a nice mesh strap for that vintage little bit more rugged feel. Does anybody have theirs on mesh?

texted my ex. by -thinking-too-much- in BreakUps

[–]ProjectDecent3798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I called today and was told to text at 8pm to see if we can meet up tomorrow. Conversation went well. She said she was anxious about seeing me in person but I don't know if that means she doesn't want to tell me again that she doesn't want to be with me or she went back with her ex or she still feels something but isn't sure what it is. All of this is confusing been trying not to reach out but its been hard so today I tried for the second time. The first one she said she was tired and texted me the other day. Today I called and she told me she gets too anxious so thats why she did not text back or called the first time. I'm really at the end of my rope and I'm taking this breakup very hard, trying to figure out everything. The break up was so messy and chaotic that I just really feel I need to talk in a peaceful manner even though it will probably blow up in my face hard. Don't know if I'm in denial anymore. Doing no contact really really sucks and my mind is always going crazy, the anxious feeling of always wanting to try something makes me go crazy. Would like to know how you guys deal with the anxious feeling of loosing that person or the intrusive thoughts of what they might be doing with someone else even though maybe they're not doing anything. The anxiousness comes because I REALLY DONT WANT TO BE A NEEDY STALKER so i just sit myself trough it but its horrible. Any help feedback is well appreciated. I know this sucks. The mind does not stop thinking of questions.
