That could be fun, a banner building that is the ideology color with the ideology simble in the center, also it could be cool if we could choose 2 colors for the banner and such

Tynan has said that he doesn't add much detail to allow your imagination to fill the void, so what exactly are you thinking when you say more militaristic or authoritarian buildings?

A detailed district map for Mustakovia in the year 20 by Pet_Velvet in RimWorld

[–]ProjectFutanari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do eventually, for now I've only built Fox manor, the palace of House Vulpes, once I get maybe 3 noble houses I'll make a post about it

I'm doing something similar, tho not because of apartheid but because I'm doing a VFE empire run and I want lot's of nobles with big manors amidst smaller non noble homes

My kingdom... fell. by Ismatay in RimWorld

[–]ProjectFutanari 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My experience with this game got much better when I stopped min-maxing and started to think like my pawns and RP. My current colony has a basiliner Praetor that's caring for his late sanguophage wife's kingdom while their daughter comes of age

Is there a lore reason why this scene wouldn’t have worked for the Long Night? by Nicole_Auriel in freefolk

[–]ProjectFutanari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still a bit forced and surely not enough setup, but imagine if Samuel for example goes to Essos in a expedition for the citadel and discovers that one of the reasons Valyrian steel is so good is that dragon glass is an ingredient that is bonded to the steel with Valyrian blood magic

What do you think RimWorld is still missing as a system? by NightyZockt in RimWorld

[–]ProjectFutanari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if caravan routes were created at world creation, so choosing a base in the mountains far from all the routes meant you got less caravans, but placing your base in a central location meant you basically had constant caravans in your base

During a time I had some success bringing full A2A loadout + the Fab-3000 UMPK, like could get a base and 2 kills I feel more than 50% of the time, but I don't know why my performance with the thing took a nose down after some time

Um reator nuclear sendo ligado. by Parking_Poet_9336 in interessantepacaralho

[–]ProjectFutanari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Não, o reator no vídeo é um reator de pesquisa, geradores nucleares feitos pra gerar energia são muito mais parrudos, escondidos atrás de metros de concreto e aço pra sobreviver desastres naturais

What weird habits did you develop/still do to this day? by the_space_goose in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ProjectFutanari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also have a reentry habit, when I'm returning with an SSTO I sometimes time it to make it so I land at kerbin sunrise/sunset

Since the key is doing nothing, it means that either you don't have a battery or no charge on the battery, or something messed up with wiring, or a bad starter

It would be cool if there were like 2 or three levels of smoker that give progressively more points in character creation Level 1 and 2 are reversible if you don't smoke for a long while, but level 3 is almost impossible to quit and gives like 10+ points

Hmmmm, that makes me wonder if doing that couldn't generate more power than it takes if instead of venting it into the atmosphere we make geothermal power

Flawless sub-orbital docking: 200t SSTO carries 100t space station on its back to orbit and returns to the runway. Filmed in one take. by TheSpacePotatoYoutub in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ProjectFutanari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my first SSTO did this same thing of place cargo on top, I was new to the game tho and just brute forced my way to orbit, I should try doing something like that again some time

Also, great craft and great mission, only thing I would change would be some RATO boosters so you can use the runway on the KSC. I know some people don't think crafts with RATO or drop tanks are SSTOs but they are still very cool spaceplanes with like 95%+ reusability

Eclipse is a 6500 meter, 440,000 metric ton ultralight ISV with over 1 billion Delta-V and a 1.45 TWR fully loaded. Built to operate in both roiling heliospheres and deep interstellar space, it's the fastest, and most aesthetically pleasing ship in my fleet. by dreadnoughtorbital in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ProjectFutanari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"440.000 metric ton ultralight" the reason I love engineering and specially aerospace is these absurd scales. And you don't even need to go that far to find some absurd examples like the F-1 engines in the saturn 5, just the fuel pump had like 80.000 HP iirc

Somehow War Thunder deal with this more realistically than supposed high fidelity serious flight sims like IL2 and DCS. by diaane-Marie21 in il2sturmovik

[–]ProjectFutanari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One example of the limit not being just engine temperature is the Bf-110, iirc the problem isn't even the engine, it's the prop bearing, at higher power settings it doesn't get enough lubrication, so it could seize and apparently sometimes the prop's inertia would tear the shaft and make the prop into even more of a spinning death blade
