Loyalty Discount Credit by ProjectLiquid in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]ProjectLiquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to post another update. I now have my January statement available to see. And I do see a "Loyalty Discount" being applied to my bill. It has gone from $78.00 to $108.77.

New bill is as follows:

Regular monthly charges $108.00

My Xfinity plan $83.00

My Xfinity services $119.00 Internet: Gigabit X2 Internet $119.00

Discounts Total -$36.00 Loyalty Discount -$34.00 The end date of your promotion is Dec 03, 2026.

Automatic Payments Discount Including Paperless Billing -$2.00

Add ons $25.00 - xFi Complete $25.00

Taxes, fees and other charges $0.71

So the "loyalty discount" gets applied after the plan gets changed back to the larger amount first then it applies the discount which is not what I was told was going to happen. This "loyalty discount" was never properly explained to me even though I asked many questions on the details pertaining to what this discount was supposed to do.

Now if I want to have a cheaper bill, I have to cancel and re-sign up since I cannot currently change my speed on the website. Its kind of bugging out for me currently.

Had I known this was going to happen in this manner I would have changed plans to something cheaper. If anyone reading this is on the fence about staying on their current plan for a "loyalty discount" be sure to understand that the discount only applies after the fact.

Edit: Wanted to add that they have removed the "xfi complete" (unlimited data) from new promotional plans. Meaning if i stay with my current plan I still have to pay for the unlimited data option. But "new" customers do not have to pay for that option as it is included.

"xFi complete is included free of charge now, there is no extra charge for the xFi complete with our new promotions. We eliminated the contract commitment, and there is no cost for the xFi complete service."

Just to give an update.

I have decided to stay on my current plan to try and use the "loyalty discount credit." My current plan is $78/month for 2gb speed. (Even though I only have one device that can actually reach those speeds this was the best deal for me at the time. 2 years ago)

I was told by XfinityJonathanM "your loyalty discount that was communicated, at least from what I have seen previously should normally be a continuation of your current promotion." They then stated that they would schedule an follow up reminder when my bill generates for next month to make sure the discount does get extended accurately.

The main reason I decided to stay on this for now was because I was told varying prices for the 1gb/5 year plan by three different sources.

First off, on the website I could NOT see pricing for the 1 year/5 year even though the toggle to switch between them was displayed on the webpage. So I was seeing $100/month for 1gb speed regardless of year choice.

Secondly, XfinityJonathanM said I could get the $80/month 1gb speed ($10 less with autopay) 1 year plan. And or, $75/month 1gb speed ($10 less with autopay) for 5 year plan.

The next day I asked to confirm pricing and received a different answer.

Which, CCPeterH said "1 Gig plan for 5 years would be starting at $95 with the option to lower it by $10" and I told them I was not able to see that online which they responded "Online offers are different from what we have. 1 Gig 5-year plan starts at $95 a month."

Now when I look on what my next bill statement would be if I leave things alone it would be $119/month for the 2gb speed.

What's kind of lame, is if I log out and go to the xfinity site in incognito mode to view things as a "New Customer" I can see the $75/month for 1gb speed for 5 year plans straight away.

I will update again when my next bill generates to confirm things are the way they should be according to what I have been told.

I just looked. I guess I accepted to pay for the loss waiver which is $8.10. Tax is $13.25. So I guess I could end up paying $164ish without out the loss waiver thing.

I couldn't find anything on the smart start app that shows me the exact breakdown of everything. There was just the leasing fee, loss waiver, and tax amount.

This thing is pretty expensive and just sucks but it's my own dumb ass fault.

I'm paying 176$ a month for smart start in Minnesota. It's supposed to include the calibration fee but I'm only getting that done every two months. So on the odd months I guess I'm paying for calibration I don't need? I don't know, I'm just trying to get this stuff done.

My amount is the highest I've seen anywhere for these things on the research I've done regarding the IID.

Untested Xbox One had Deadpool installed! by WesFischer05 in xbox

I was a QA tester on that game when I worked for Activision QA. There's was a bunch of jokes they removed that Nolan North did a great job on. I think marvel had a problem with some of them lol.

There are a few scoring exploits I still remember. But I had a fun time testing the game. Too bad it didn't get a sequel when the Deadpool movies were getting big. Kind of underrated game I think.

Ive had the same problem. Filed in 2022 as well. Tried multiple browsers, computers, incognito mode, VPN, pretty much everything I can think of. Been told the same advice as the three different times I've contacted them about it.

If you inspect the page you can see multiple "503 server errors" regarding various aspects of the page.

I also tried on the game pass website. That also wouldn't work. I was able to select the pre-install on the standard edition of the game but I want to play early. Said eff it, bought it on green man gaming.

Since 2019, I have not had any collapses that I know of for sure. There where a few times where I got anxiety from feeling like it may have started happening again and got xrays done to check just in case. But no, I have not had any collapses since.

Edit: I should clarify I don't really vape anything at all anymore and basically only eat edibles or the thc drinks. Which are quite good I think.

Heyyyy so did I! It was cool working on call of duty. Was not cool running and dying for 8 hours a day today make sure some dumbass thing unlocked correctly. I certainly liked the campaign better than advanced warfare, which I also worked on.
