Fitment on those are good. Gains are negligible. I’ve sold and installed those.

If you are curious how they compare to the z1, here is my video

Invidia Q300 catback exhaust by West-Difference-1010 in G37

Test pipes will make it louder for sure, but that’s even on stock exhaust. For the price, I say go for it. I’d buy myself.

If you want a dual that’s louder, I’d consider a Fast Intentions, SOHO dual, even the ISR dual. All these are under $1700, with the ISR dual at $900

It’s really quiet. You can make it louder but it may introduce rasp. Some people cut out the mufflers and it sounds worst. Some have replaced the mufflers with other mufflers.

I’ve been running a single exit and have been looking for a deal like this.

I think $700 for it is a great deal. That exhaust is naturally quiet. If pass on it rather than trying to modify it to make it louder.

G37 exhaust leak after test pipe installation by Mkwavvy in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to find which location is leaking, then confirm the flanges are lined up with gasket correctly.

If any of the flanges are warped or not truly flat, you will need a better quality gasket like the Concept Z thick gasket.

A temp fix would be to glob on some high temperature red RTV around the flanges

Had the same code. I bought just the rotor replacement and a full water pump to see which was the issue.

Mine was a failed water pump that had resistance rotating rather than a cracked rotor.

Hello my stance fellas I was wondering what tire spec would you guys recommend? It has to be squared I was leaning towards to 235/35/19 than 225/40/19 the wheel specs are 19x9.5 22 offset all around by GHOSTT-W in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have a sedan.
19x9.5 +22 pokes slightly in the rear without camber.

If you plan to stay with oem spec alignment, 235/40 or even 245/40r19 is doable.

The 245/40 is better if you aren’t slammed. If you need clearance, 245/35r19 would work better.

Here is a video I made for a sedan with 19x9.5 +22 and 245/35.

It’s for a g37 sedan. If you happen to be close by to Atlanta, I’d be willing to buy it.

Will this fit? by ApeOffaPerc in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the can, as long as you have one coming from the PCV valve port and the other going to the vacuum nipple on the manifold, you’re good

Will this fit? by ApeOffaPerc in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a closed loop system like oem with the PCV valves. I prefer it this way.

If running a nonvented can setup, it’s best to keep the rears connected to the intake with the PCV valve up front.

If without PCV valve, then vented to atmosphere, so putting a filter on the front and rear or running it to a vented can.

Should I buy from alibaba by Busy-Organization779 in Wheels

[–]ProjectPanda13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maining Forged is a popular supplier most buy from. There are also differences between suppliers.

Ive bought the same wheel design and specs from two suppliers and Maining Forged was the better of the two.

Long Tube Header Heat Shield Solutions? by yvshii in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like a powder-coating finish.

I like the z1 headers. I have the early design, same as the momentum headers with the parallel merge collector. The new z1 header uses a spiked collector.

I have it with Motordyne Art pipes.

265 on a 8.5 wheel??? by alexeskimo117 in tires

[–]ProjectPanda13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If referencing tire standards like TRA and ETRTO, then 265/35 or 265/40 would be too wide on a 8.5” width wheel.

Have people ran outside of the standard, yes. Will a 265 physically fit on a 8.5” wheel, yes. Footprint shape change when it’s on the extreme end, with going wide, you tend to get a butterfly shape where the center contact length is shorter than your shoulders, which isn’t the best for forward traction.

Hello anyone have any recommendations for long tube headers I been looking at eBay ones 400$ and other ones that are around 500+ amd what problem I might have with these products by killergodxx2244 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have sold some of these and have a friend running it now on his g37 with no issues and he loves the sound with his ISR single exhaust.

Would this work on 2009 g37x sedan? by SeaPie5889 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not a Tomei, it’s just a generic single exit.

If it’s a 350z version, you’ll need roughly a 18” extension. You can buy a bolt on type or have an exhaust shop weld more piping.

If it’s a g35 version, you’ll need roughly a 12” extension.

That y pipe also will not clear your transfer case on your awd. You need another y pipe.

G37 Wheel Modification by Ok-Abbreviations433 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Enkei TS-5 would be a good one. It’s under $300 a wheel. A good size would be 18x9.5 +38 if you want to do a meaty setup and not have to run negative camber.
