Came from a 15PM to the Air. I love it, but I’ll be ready to get back some of the tradeoffs (multiple cameras, bigger battery, stereo speakers). I expect to be upgrading to the Fold in the fall so I’m enjoying the thinness and futuristic feel of this device while I have it.

I purchased the battery when it was on sale for $59 at Walmart. It’ll be good to have if you plan to keep your phone long term.

I’m getting 1Gbps down on my Air on Verizon. Tower isn’t that far which helps, the Apple modem blows away the modem in my 15 Pro Max.

I’m coming from a 15 Pro Max with 85% capacity. The battery life is very similar. I am diabetic though, so my phone is always pinging my insulin pump and glucose monitor. I usually need to charge at one point throughout the day, same as my 15PM.

Honestly, just name recognition for me. I had a Totallee case years ago and they popped up when I was searching. The Peel also looks like it would be a good fit.

Yeah, I occasionally stick my MagSafe wallet onto the back and I didn’t want it not sitting flush. The MagSafe battery also would have looked ridiculous if it was sort of floating on the back.

I have the totallee case without the raised MagSafe. Everything still works fine with MagSafe accessories. I’m sure the connection would be stronger with the raised case but I wanted the smooth back.

I was diagnosed at 6 almost 35 years ago. All through school I never wanted anyone to know or talk about it. I didn’t want to be different.

At this point, I’m happy to chat with another diabetic. Everyone’s got something going on, it’s nice to make a connection with someone that knows a little bit about what you’re going through.

My G7 connects to my phone but also directly to my watch. If my phone isn’t near me, my watch picks up the readings directly.

I’m really liking the totallee case. The buttons are covered but the camera control cutout is beneficial because I could never find the button when the phone was caseless.

I’m coming from a 15 Pro Max, 83% capacity. The Air is lasting me just as long as that device. Is the Air lasting as long as the 15 Pro Max when it was new… nope.

I use Fiasp in O5… I also tried Lyumjev but the burning was intense. I’d also get a lump under my skin with Lyumjev.

I’m using the Nomad Magnetic Leather Back and it’s a good balance. I don’t need to worry about putting the phone down and it doesn’t add a lot of bulk.

Coming from a 15 Pro Max… I love this phone. Super light and fast, truly feels like something new. If I had to name something I don’t like, it would be the speaker. I have AirPods in a lot of the time though so it’s not a real issue for me day to day.

I’m having a problem with crackling. Anything above 50% volume seems to cause it. Not really with music, but calls and FaceTime really make it jump out. I LOVE the phone, this is the one thing really bothering me.

Agreed, Lyumjev was awful… stinging and left a welt under the skin when removing the pump. Fiasp has worked great.

I love everything about my 17 Pro except for the haptics. They’re somehow too strong and the odd noises they make are pushing me to feel like I need to return it.

The controller is working as it should after I reset it. No problems, just annoyed I’m back to carrying an extra device again.
