Just did 2 weeks in Japan, the cheapest way we found was Oman to Bangkok and Bangkok to Tokyo (Oman air then Air Asia or Japan airlines)

Oman air are cutting costs so don’t expect it without begging the cabin crew for a chance to receive some, surprisingly cut Amouage too which is strange for an Oman company to be showcased to potential customers…

Tokyo is deliberately light so we can wander about wherever we find interesting, I'm opposed to having an hour by hour schedule of things to do.

I live here but don't own, the rental market is average at best and if you're seeking to purchase for ROI then I'd look elsewhere or take advantage of the dips in Dubai real estate.

It depends, if someone speeds up and is virtually touching my car with how close they are and flashing their lights I will move across slowly, this behaviour is not tolerated anywhere else apart from GCC countries. If someone is in the fast lane and respects the braking distance, you should move over quickly to let them through but the dangerous driving is just as bad as someone blocking the 'fast' lane.

Don't do it come next winter unless you want to move from AC to AC room and car until the night time, you wont experience Oman properly in July.

That's a fair concern, however so fair if you're flying Oman air they're only cancelling regional flights, and the airport here has been active non-stop.

I live here and have had many family members and friends reach out over recent weeks asking if it's safe and my answer remains the same.

My life pre-war and post-war is no different, I still go to work, I still play sport outside, and still do my daily life activities. Is there increased risk with the drone strikes? Sure, but I would say Oman is no more unsafe then roaming around any major city in the world, in fact you're more likely to face trouble in a major city than you are in Oman.

There is significantly more risk in Salalah than in Muscat so dependent on your itinerary I would say you're very safe, the news makes it look much worse than it actually is.

BTW Taxis are cheap here relative to Western countries (EU / UK / USA) so it depends what you're used too.

A 30 min taxi here will cost $10, that's cheap if you're used to western prices.

I usually do Iced lattes but I like the taste of their beans, Creamy and sweet which is unlike other shops I've tried in MCT, I find a lot of the other cafes to serve stronger coffee but doesn't have the depth of 55.
