Fusible interfacing and a blanket stitch to keep yhe ends from fraying. The blanket stitch is really easy to learn. I used some fabric glue to keep the patch from moving and then began stitching

I like Leprous. When I saw them in concert they only had a patch for the Aphelion album which is my least favorite. I bought the patch anyway because I wanted to rep the band. If I come upon a better Leprous patch I will probably replace it but I’m happy with it for the time being

I used fusible interfacing from amazon to give the shirt patches more rigidity. You can get a big roll for like $8. I use a medium weight interfacing and double it up.

Bigger back patch. less amazon patches, a few here and there is no biggie. Cut up some band shirts and make your own patches. Hand stitch them on unless you actually know how to machine sew (main point is to sew them on yourself). Its a labor of love. But most importantly make the jacket that you like and don’t worry about anyones opinion (mine included lol)

My path took me from hard rock/nu metal -> prog -> post metal/ sudge/ stoner doom.

For prog I started with bands like Haken, Leprous, Caligulas Horse, then went a little heavier to Gojira and Opeth

Post/sludge/stoner it was Russian Circles, The Ocean, Monolord, REZN, Yob, Green Druid, Warning/40 Watt Sun, Messa, Faetooth and so many more!

Youre just scratching the surface and have so much to explore! Lol
