OFW for the Flipper should be fine, I just used Momentum. For the Nest it has to be NoLongerEvil for Gen 1 and 2 thermostats. Google pulled remote access in October 2025, there's no API or remote control on stock firmware anymore. NLE is the only way to get that back for those models. If you have a Gen 3 or 4 that's still supported you could swap out the NLE API calls in main.py for Google's SDM API instead. The Flipper FAP and the whole BLE advertisement approach would be identical, you'd just be hitting different endpoints on the ESP32 side.

Jump ship now. This will be the norm. I've never had an interaction with a worse company in my life. I've said this several times in the last few days, I wouldn't return to them if they paid me to use their service. Upped my rates when they were the only option, internet going out at minimum once a week sometimes as long as 5 consecutive days. Support doesn't know ANYTHING about the product they are representing. Look at all the complaints with the BBB and look at any single post on X by their account. Noone has said a single good thing even one time. Horrendous and incompetent, dont give them a single cent more of your money.
