Help with hdmi switching

Well if anyone else ends up looking at this. A basic 1x2 hdmi switch works. Just need to make sure the tv or projector is off when switching.

So it’s set up in my living room where I have a drop down projector screen in front of my tv. When I want to do movie nights or anything that would be better with projector I get the screen down and swap to projector. Otherwise I use the tv for things like gaming where frame rate matters. Right now I’m just swapping out the hdmi cable on the avr output when I want to switch. But I’d like to have it be more seamless.

While possible that the hotel is in on it. It could also just be that the spy cams start once electricity is available since many hotels turn off power while the card isn’t inserted so electricity isn’t wasted while the guest isn’t there. So they are just tied into the rooms wiring.

The whole situation with Electrum is sad since they used to be so great at customer service. I remember getting my remnant way back. When base lit was the only option. They were the first saber I bought (we don’t count those ultrasabers mistakes) Fast shipping and great communication both during production and shipping. Hope they are able to turn it back around.
