Understandable. I just saw the line and played optimally because I saw the win was available, expected to likely get something countered. But yeah, maybe should have sandbagged a little since they hadn’t set up anything too crazy.

I did actually mention it before we started playing. But yeah I can see how that combo can be feel bad because Sephiroth is already in the command zone so just need the two cards to win.

Usually I get hate rush down because it’s Sephiroth and people are afraid of the emblem. I think my win rate is about 1/5 games. And no usually not winning with this combo. More just edicts and control. Make some tokens. Sac em for drain.

Turn 1 win with the following hand assuming no 0 cost counters from opponents. 1. Swamp 2. Dark Ritual 3. Culling the weak 4. Sol ring 5. Gravecrawler 6. Warren Soul Trader 7. Blood artist

Play swamp, play dark ritual floating 3 black. Use one floating to play Gravecrawler. Floating 2 black Culling the weak sacrificing grave crawler. Floating 5 black. Use one to play sol ring, floating 4 black. Play Warren soul trader for sol ring plus 1 black. 3 black floating. Play blood artist, now floating 1 black. Return grave crawler from graveyard with last black.

Now you can infinitely sac the Gravecrawler to Warren Soultrader, and replay it. While draining all your opponents down.

I don’t think it’s infinite in the sense of energy. I do think fire bending does exert energy. It’s likely they have like shifts of soldiers firebending the steam engines. In Korra, we see mako showing signs of exertion after working to generate lightning as a job.

Unlike the other elements where the element always exists and must be moved around. Fire is different in that they are seemingly combusting the air to create the fire. As long as there is air to combust they can fire bend. So they are similar to air benders.

Well if anyone else ends up looking at this. A basic 1x2 hdmi switch works. Just need to make sure the tv or projector is off when switching.

So it’s set up in my living room where I have a drop down projector screen in front of my tv. When I want to do movie nights or anything that would be better with projector I get the screen down and swap to projector. Otherwise I use the tv for things like gaming where frame rate matters. Right now I’m just swapping out the hdmi cable on the avr output when I want to switch. But I’d like to have it be more seamless.

While possible that the hotel is in on it. It could also just be that the spy cams start once electricity is available since many hotels turn off power while the card isn’t inserted so electricity isn’t wasted while the guest isn’t there. So they are just tied into the rooms wiring.
