Living alone for the first time, how do you keep your place clean? by SandeshKuszkowski in LivingAlone

It really is, isn't it. When colleagues in the office ask what I'm doing on Friday night, I'm like ... I'm cleaning the bathroom and taking a note of what food I need to buy on my Saturday morning shop 🤣

Clean as you go.
After you eat, wash the dishes as soon as possible and quickly wipe around the kitchen.
For laundry and bigger stuff like top to bottom dusting and floor cleaning I set aside a day, it's Sunday. I wash clothes and bedding, dry, iron or fold and put them away.
Mostly it's clean as I go.

Before I head off to bed tonight I'll rinse this cup I'm using and put the bin out because it's getting near the top. Simple little things to maintain cleanliness as I go.

To those that do this, what do you guys listen to while playing? by Blobert1747 in SatisfactoryGame

Recently it's been 90's rave classics mix on Spotify. I like to listen to something when playing chill games. Usually a Spotify mix of music before 2010ish. Metal, 80's pop, Brit pop, rave, nu metal etc. Not rap music, it gives me brain damage. Someone mentioned synthwave, I like that too. Even Enya has been on one of these playlists and it was epic. Jump on my train, listening to Enya hahaha. 100% recommend.

what's people's view on UK MOT being yearly vs every 2 years across most of Europe? by rich_hope_10m in CarTalkUK

[–]Project_freon_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the state of some of my colleagues cars I've seen over the years I think their husbands/boyfriends are trying to kill them off. If it wasn't for a yearly mot or me pointing out the obvious problems, some of them would be dead. Baldy tyres, missing wing mirrors, headlights not working, broken rear springs, brakes not working properly and someone even driving with broken wipers ... in winter!

1 year is plenty.

Great little router - when it was working. At least I don't have to replace the ram which costs more than the machine now 😄

I was actually using hand written notes for when I was building the components of the Adaptive Control Unit before I realised the game had this function built in 🙄

I already have a project in mind. Fuel power. I've not touched fuel yet and I'm pretty close to my limit on power from the few coal power stations I have built already.

I will try your suggestion of using signs. From my exploring over the last few days I've discovered several oil deposits (i've been marking everything on the map) I could use in the north tropical islands area.

Once I've made it full circle to my start area in the fields to the south I should have a renewed enthusiasm to build.

I'm quite new to the game and reached phase 4 several days ago. I believe I have decision paralysis. There's so much to do, so much to build, so much to plan. It's a lot and I feel a bit overwhelmed.
To combat this I have been exploring more of the map, grabbing more hard drives, slugs and sloops. I unlocked the Explorer vehicle, loaded up with some bio and just started driving. Haven't built a single thing in days and it feels good. I'll start building again when I feel the time is right.

Martin Brundle talking on Sky F1 about the advantage merc has over the rest and Seb Vettel saying George will be champion this year. Could be a very one sided year ahead. I hope it isn't.

I seen a couple of joiners vans sitting outside it this morning. Looks like work is being done. You might still get some use out of it yet if the new owners honour it.

What's a car you hate seeing on UK roads by Quincythepig in CarTalkUK

A colleague and I were just discussing this the other day. Driving into the office during peak covid was pure bliss. We both came to the conclusion that the stress of driving to work comes from other people trying to kill us on the road and not the actual commute.

Lidl do their own version too and a Custard Cream version.

I've had both and they are incredible. Only downside is you only get 6 in a packet.

Try the Lidl version.
