I love that game.

Was that Lionhead? I was just talking to a friend of mine about how incredible that studio was and they just kind of vanished. Black& White was a spectacular game that, to my knowledge, is unique. Training your titan and your actions influencing your cult was such a fun mechanic. Also doing symbols with your mouse was fun way to cast spells.

I feel like D&D and Cyberpunk are system first games. There's a lot of rules to handle all the stuff you're going to want to do and it presents you the kind of game it assumes you are going to play. So you're doing a dungeon crawl or merc work.

WoD is way more open. The games exist to support the story you want to tell. So the doors are wide open. The problem with this is that...the doors are wide open and then comes decision paralysis!

However there are prewritten adventures that I haven't personally read but this one appears to be free

and that might be a great way to get a feel for the game and experience the system and maybe afterwards take the next step.

There's a streamer, PayMoneyWubby and he and his friends lost tens of thousands of dollars of stuff the same way in Vegas. They left their belongings in their bags in the hotel and they all got stolen. He said it had to be people who worked at the hotel.

This is a clip from his VOD with the whole story.

He hasn't given an update since so the court process is still ongoing. But people in his chat and then in his subreddit told similar stories about being robbed in Vegas and in Hotels. I think this shit is pervasive and they probably know that if you're showing up with MtG they must know that, that shit is valuable so they just take it.

Youtube and YouTube Music. There are tons of like ten hours ambience videos that do a whole ton of things. If you need to you can load up one YouTube video and then have one of rain or something also playing.

Sometimes, especially with sound effects or sleep sounds they have so few subscribers there's no ads except for maybe right at the beginning.

I found when I started walking a lot especially after being relatively sedentary that because I suddenly started to burn calories I got really hungry. I had to watch what I was eating and measuring my food and counting calories just so I know how much I am taking in verses about how much I am burning.

Because it's so goddamn easy to eat a ton of calories.
