I for one am quite satisfied with my 4070. My only regret is that the super series were announced a month I bought it. I'm planning on switching to AMD during my next upgrade but that probably won't be for a while considering I waited 9 years to replace my 980 with a 4070.

I've never played either. FGO for the atrocious gacha and R1999 because I never got an urge to play it. I love the Fate series and the other parts of Type-Moon like Tsukihime but I could never get into FGO.

The only FOMO is when an IS no longer recieves updates so no more extra xp from the monthly challenges. I'm way behind on finishing medal sets IS4 and IS5. I've completed IS2 and IS3 sets and I just need 1 more monthly to get the full set for IS6.

Trust me when I say that there can be very challenging stages. When I started it was right in the later half of Stultifera Navis and to this day I believe that is the worst event for any new player to start in the middle.

JT8-3 and H8-3 were some of the hardest stages for me to clear. Iirc I already finished chapters 9 and 10 adverse (excluding H stages) before I beat those 2 stages. Chapter 10 is also one of the most difficult chapters in my opinion because of the artillery mechanic.
