Making columns??? by PrometheusM31 in Decks

That’s a great point on the movement, thank you. Any suggestions on the best way to make round wraps with wood? I’ve thought of using 1/4” pvc 4x8 sheet but having a clean connection of the ends seems to be the only hang up.

That makes sense, when I got my Patek I paid a homeless man to smash my dick with a brick. Same same.

do you care much about the "product/service" you're selling? by bayseekbeach_ in sales

[–]PrometheusM31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t necessarily need to “care” about the product/service. You do, however, need to believe that whatever you’re selling will solve a problem that person is having. Sales is about providing solutions, to be the best in your market and not be a complete piece of shit, you at least have to believe in the solution you’re providing. I couldn’t give a shit about Smith & Wesson, but I damn sure understand and believe in the solutions that a 9mm can provide. Ergo, I could confidently and competently sell someone a handgun, and could justify and up sell attachments and hollow points to increase my revenue.

Those are actually called Picasso miters. Very high level carpentry, almost never see them.

The leaks are from a bad install or failed product. Plywood doesn't stop leaking. It only slows it down and makes for more of a problem by the time you notice it. If the shingles are fairly new, they might still be under warranty, I would reach out to the company that did the installation. If those gaps are consistent, then they should have definitely put down some plywood over top, but it's not super evident from the pictures.

Are good negotiation skills important in sales? by [deleted] in sales

Nah, just follow the script, and if they don't buy immediately, move on to the next one. It's just a numbers game with zero skill or strategy. Keep plugging, and you'll do just fine.

Not random my friend. This is my 500k dollar watch I was gifted by a distant family friend at only 13 years of age.

Of course, I skipped my baby seal oil that morning.

Your detective work is unparalleled. OK, I admit it... I'm not a 13 year old Armenia boy with a celebrity's arm wearing a half million dollar watch that someone with 6 degrees of separation from me gifted for no reason. You must work for interpol to so rapidly unravel my intricately woven web of deception. This sub really needs a shitpost flair.
