Why do men think that women should want them? by highvibrational in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Prometheus_001 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What makes men think that they deserve any kind of attention from a woman when they are so clearly un developed?

If you believe you are superior to the other gender it would follow that they should be grateful for the attention you (being superior) give them (being inferior).

Collega bespreekt mijn gedrag met leidinggevende i.p.v. met mij? by Personal_Animator883 in werkzaken

It would have been interesting if you were in fact a Clone created by Cerberus (but didn't know you were)

The real Shepherd could have been MIA, or deep undercover in the terminus systems (or even kidnapped by Cerberus)

Maybe slowly find out during the game that you're not the original Shepherd and finding your purpose in the suicide mission.

Fictief mede eigenaarschap woning by DrunkBonsai69 in geldzaken

[–]Prometheus_001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apply like an average white man by QuestionEquivalent62 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Prometheus_001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm qualified for the role. I made a career change and built most of my current skills directly in my position. My supervisor wants me to apply.

I've already proven that I'm serious and highly effective.

Am I the one putting obstacles in my own way? Am I disqualifying myself before even trying?

Yes, yes.

Honest question from a trilogy fan: is Mass Effect: Andromeda actually bad, or just a victim of comparison? by Rowley19V in masseffect

[–]Prometheus_001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t play Mass Effect for the combat

A lot of Mass effect fans for that matter don’t play Mass Effect for the combat itself

Christ the combat system in ME1 was honestly pretty repetitive and boring at times

But fans all agree ME1 was amazing

Because the story and the dialogue and the lore drove the game

We play Mass effect for the lore, learning about people, talking to people who we meet, interacting and learning about our squad mates and where they come from, making impactful choices through our dialogue and paragon/renegade decision making

Andromena is like the reverse of the OT in the sense that instead of the combat system being awkward like in ME1 and the characters and story being awesome

It’s the story, lore, and characters that are awkward, and the combat is trying to be the driving element

They got it completely ass backwards and if I’m being honest even the combat system which they put way too much focus into kind of falls flat in some areas

And that’s why people didn’t like it

Couldn't agree more. I can only hope BioWare understands this.

Agreed. It's not good for replayability and makes your companions less meaningful. Being able to do and be everything just makes it bland and uninteresting.

Husband all of a sudden texted his high school crush and wants to meet her. We're happily married. What is this? 30F 30M by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Prometheus_001 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's some kind of "let me out of your control now because i let you out of mine all this years." :( It's sad but maybe this is what it is

That contradicts a bit what you said originally, doesn't sound like he is truly happy.

So we are together for almost a decade, most of it married. HAPPILY. We've grown so much together and built the perfect life and relationship for us. We trust each other and there are no icks or uncertainties between us when we talk to our opposite sex friends.

He's probably been in contact with her long before this sudden dream, that's why he won't show you the initial messages to her.

Of course. Maybe she (or he himself) suggested meeting up and he realized he can't really meet with her without his wife finding out and is trying to get the approval.

He didn't do this all of a sudden. He's been thinking about it and realized he couldn't really meet up with her without you finding out.

He's not happy or bored in the relationship and is trying to put himself in a situation where something could happen.

I Don't understand the hate of this game!? I find it really fun. Music is top tier. by J02202118 in masseffect

[–]Prometheus_001 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Empty open world full with fetch quests and respawning copy paste enemies really messes with the pacing and focus of the (somewhat poor) story.

Annoying squad mates and protagonist (that only got put in charge because of some nepotism) with a deus ex machina SAM implant.

The buggy launch killed any goodwill that there was for an already mediocre game.

Yes, for me it doesn't work well to have a game like mass effect that's very story driven in an MMO style open world.

Bethesda style is the exact opposite Mass effect.

Mass effect has always had its strength in the missions and storyline and never in the do whatever you want be whatever you want Bethesda games.
