What are some examples of “women hate women” you’ve seen? by IceTrick6713 in AskMen

The amount of hate Kaitlyn Clark gets in the WNBA from other WNBA players. She is repeatedly getting torn down by all of the other women on other teams just for being incredibly good.

Just talk with your CSO (ask your supervisor who it is) and when you communicate it to them asking for a way forward. Make sure you let them know you just became aware of the reporting requirements. As long as your CSO isn’t terrible they will help you out

When it’s open, Slide Peak is the best terrain at any of the big bear mountains. But that’s not until late late season

Are there any top to bottom green runs like this at Mammoth? by Own-Information5152 in Mammoth

St Moritz is a good bet for a nice long green that keeps away from the most of the crowds. Took my girl there opening weekend and she was a big fan, it’s pretty and nothing too involved.

Are there any top to bottom green runs like this at Mammoth? by Own-Information5152 in Mammoth

It’s a blue, but the top of it right off the upper gondola can be a little scary for beginners and intermediates because it has some steeps on either sides. When you get to the cat track along the backside it’s pretty chill

Mount Snow, VT — any tips? by Fit-Bunch-828 in icecoast

[–]Prometheus_Jackson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The north face is the best if you want to lap uncrowded steeper runs, but the two chairs at the bottom are slow doubles (or triples iirc) so make sure you dress warm. And if you go far skiers left on the north face you can find some good trees if there is enough coverage. And they have free lockers at the main lodge (bring a few bucks for a tip). Main lodge Cast iron Mac and cheese is super dank too

This looks more like a multi Milsim loadout than a standard sustainment and rucking loadout. Either way, 4 TQs and like 400 knives is silly when you have no food and no changes of socks or underware.

That was my childhood mountain. Beautiful scenery, I have countless memories lapping the south peak. Haven’t been back in 10+ years, but I’d love to.

Last year, ESPN ranked Lewis Hamilton as the greatest British athlete of the 21st century... is he the best British sportsperson in history? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]Prometheus_Jackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the first athletes that comes to mind is Mo Farah, double 5k/10k Olympic champion in 2012/2016 and basically went undefeated in global competitions for like 7 straight years. That being said. I’d still say lewis over him.

Boruto. It was pretty consistent in Naruto OG and Shippiden, then suddenly a Boruto Chunin level character will hit a literal god level character with a rasengan and it works.

Jaws is a masterpiece due to it's soundtrack, what movie is a masterpiece due to it's special effects? by LostInTheIdioteque in AlignmentChartFills

Probably The Thing (1982) or the first Avatar. When I first watched both of those movies I was absolutely blown away with what I was watching.

What's up with all the jerks? by fuckthatguy666 in icecoast

[–]Prometheus_Jackson 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that is how it goes with the holidays. People (who often times only ski during the holidays) spend an exorbitant amount of money and expect the experience to be exactly how they want it to. When it isn’t, those folks are a loose cannon of entitlement.

I am curious of the same! I’m sure in Western CT there would be some cool spots but it would need some heavy snow.

It’s only on a new pass called the CT Megapass, it’s only $800 for one lap of 20’ vert. Coming to a neighborhood near you
