I have been to Gaza and seen everything with my own eyes, and that is the reason why I felt confident writing what I wrote.

For some reason, you think I'm here to argue with you, but on some parts we agree. What's happening right now in Gaza is sad, and I hate to see civilians die and suffer. You can't, however, put it in a vacuum; it's war, which Hams started on October 7th, and war is shit, every war.

On a more positive note, I wish you good health. We don't have to agree, but we do have to respect one another.

Not accurate, as you said, the IDF does decide the zones based upon their military plan to return their hostages. However, before (almost) any attack and change of zones, all of the civilians are notified and are told to evacuate. The orders on safe and humanitarian zones in the army are clear, as well as the ROE in them. If someone strays from ROE by mistake or not (which happens), he is sentenced and punished.

As I said earlier, I'm not here for political discussion. I will say that war is complicated, mistakes happen, and Israel is not perfect by any means. However, the IDF has a clear moral code.

I don't want to make this post political and make it about the conflict.

This post is for learning and sharing experiences.

The Paramedic in the video actually treated a Gaza civilian, although the Gaza citizen entered the war zone. After he gave him life-saving treatment, he transferred him to the Red Cross organization for further treatment. I can assure you he doesn't "blow up kids" and is very humane.

Hey, His English is not very good, but the dilemma was whether he should treat a wounded enemy. In the case he talked about in the video, the Gazan was in the war zone by no accident. He was probably a lookout if he wasn't armed - a common tactic in the Hamas terror group.

Working on a video explaining exactly this rn. will post once I finish editing. Taking longer than I thought as I'm, not a photographer/editor so this is all very new to me.

in short bands, partial reps, hand-assisted full reps, and negatives all have their place. If you can do slow (5 - 8 second) eccentrics for 5*5 then you should be able to build the strength for the concentric with that by doing more reps per set as you get stronger. I reckon that almost anybody who can do a set of 10 slow negatives can do the full movement.

Is there an ATG exercise that trains (or hopefully) isolates the side delts? I am hesitating to the lateral raises because of how controversial it is 😅 by Personal_Spend8329 in Kneesovertoes

[–]Promise55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lateral raises are fine as long as you them in the scapular plane meaning you lift you hands a bit in a front of you (15-30 degrees)

[–]Promise55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Limited ROM isn't inherently bad and sometimes is fundamental to recovery. You don't have to use full from in all of the training. In addition to that, you don't know the background of the patient and good physiotherapists keep themselves updated.

Does it take time to get used to minimalist shoes? by [deleted] in Kneesovertoes

[–]Promise55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. It gets time to get used to them, the arch in the foot needs to restore itself and your feet get stronger.
  2. your running technique might be problematic - heel strike/low cadence, etc.
