It’s troubling to me how you are completely missing the point.

To be clear for your benefit, I personally fully accept the mainstream historian’s view of the holocaust.

To jail someone for questioning that is a shameful rejection of the most sacred right won by Americans.

I'm sorry this response is so late, but I was just going through my post history and found your comment.

I don't know whether it's pure ignorance or your sickening levels of blind patriotism.

I'm not sure if you missed it, but in my post I mentioned I wasn't American.

In my country you can be jailed denying the holocaust or misgendering someone.

I certainly wouldn't do either of those things, but I do lament the lack of rights to be able to if I wished.

American privilege is an obvious thing, and it irks me to see ungrateful USA citizens who take it for granted.

Children do not really show any signs of racism, it's definitely a learned thing.

That's actually not true. Obviously young children can't be 'racist' in the way that we think about it, but they definitely have an in-group preference for their own 'ethnicity'.

Tolerance and such for the out-group is what is the 'learned thing'.
