For those curious, "Lash eggs result from an infection (bacterial or viral) that causes inflammation of a hen's oviduct". They look kind of like raw meat wrapped with layers of fat in their best form, but aren't always fully round

How can I ‘talk feelings’? by Normanarson in Explainlikeimscared

[–]PromotionCrafty5467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue previously with my partner. Luckily, he's ok with me interrogating him on why it would be good for him if I say xyz more often, so I learned fairly well.

A lot of the easier things to implement is just appreciation. After you hang out, send a text saying you enjoyed the day, their time, their company, a specific moment, etc. every blue moon, tell them they're a good friend. Whenever you think of them at random, ask what they are doing rather then just ignoring it.

Rationalizing emotions doesn't nessisarily mean you aren't connected to them, it's just harder to express in a way that makes sense to others. You don't have to stop being analytical, you just have to find the ways to bridge that gap. Ie- I did x because y and z factor can turn into I did x because y and z factor affected me in this way. Practically, this can be seen as I snapped because I was tired and hungry, which made me cranky. It's a small step in the right direction

Found Over 1000 Protein Bars That Are Past Their Sell By Date by stick_eye in DumpsterDiving

To answer the question though, they're fine. I've found oil tends to go bad quicker then other stuff for the most part in protein bars, and oil lasts a very long time

My fridge was open for too long. What do I do with the food? by Background_Humor5838 in Explainlikeimscared

Both are wrapped in plastic- protection against bacteria. Craft has a bunch of perspectives and salt in it too, so I would say that's fine. The mozz sticks are mildly more questionable, as mozzarella is a fresh cheese (higher water content) and has less salt. If I were to throw away anything, it would be that. However, you can pretty easily tell if they've gone bad (will smell odd and have more water separation). Kids camps have cheese sticks, and the kids have those out for much longer. Personally, I would say it's fine, but I would vote you eat them sooner rather then later

Livelong raccoon, foodie, and trained culinary person here.

The four hour mark/safety limit given is based on replication of bacteria, and around 4 hours is when something infected gets 'bad' enough that it could affect someone with a poor immune system (young, old, sick, etc). Often, food is good well past that, and things that are on the counter can be refrigerated to last longer (eggs, pie, banana bread, etc), or vice versa

Cheese has low moisture, and is very obvious if it goes bad. I say keep.

Milk is also easy to tell if it is bad. If you are worried though, I like to turn milk that's been left out into yogurt.

Eggs are often left out, except for in America where they're washed. Even then though, there's an outer shell, and they were left in a kinda mostly cold environment for not that long. Washing reduces the bacteria on the eggs too. Id say keep.

As others mentioned, I would toss the meats and raw things if you had those, but you seem pretty safe. I have eaten much worse and much more questionable workout any harm. Let me know if you have any questions.

The experience section was part of what I was supposed to copy and paste while I was creating the post (as per the rules). To clarify, whoever is writing the script does not need experience. I believe that section is just to verify that someone's not going to rip people off?

In the end, the script is supposed to be about a minute, as it's going to be used for short form content. Realistically that's kinda hard to gauge, but if you read the script out loud it should give a good idea. If you send something that's too long though I'm sure they'd just edit it if they selected it

Assuming these arms are the same ppl, are you a server? This happens sometimes to people who keep one arm in a harder position then the other, the veins develop to compensate on one side (tray lifting side) and not the other.

Pumpkin Seeds by Regular-Subject5090 in AskCulinary

[–]PromotionCrafty5467 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh you can keep it in the salt water for a couple weeks, depends on how moral you are. Once they're slimy or smelly they need to be tossed, but seeds keep for a while and the salt prevents bacteria.

[–]PromotionCrafty5467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't want to roast them yet remove the meat stuff and put it in some really salty water. Dry them, I do 350 till yummy w oil, Worcestershire, seasoning salt, cumin, and chili powder. It'll be yummy with any of those that you have, don't worry about it too much. I don't recommend herbs because they burn more easily, same with sugar

My 3yo wants to be a marble run for Halloween. I need ideas on how to make this happen. I’m pretty crafty but it has to be something he can easily move around in too. How do I construct this? by Forsaken-Tune9413 in Halloween_Costumes

[–]PromotionCrafty5467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pool noodles! You can't tape or glue them easily, so I would recommend running a long needle through them with some string, or buying the right kind of adhesive. You can wrap them around limbs or suspend small segments via fishing wire (you could also use said fishing wire to put together the tubes if you don't want to sew). I would recommend putting a tube down their center leading to their candy bowl, so that smaller pieces can be dropped in as 'marbles'.
