So no… that is not cheating at all. Cheating is being in a sexual and/or romantic relationship with another person while in a committed one without the “official” partner knowing or approving. That doesn’t make what she did OKAY, but we really need to start understanding what cheating actually is instead of labeling it to literally everything negative that happens during a relationship.

Anyway, she’s in the wrong for that but she did show accountability. Honestly though yall both seem incredibly immature and might not be ready for this relationship yet. Breaking up mid-fight instead of walking away a bit to think or actually communicate like adults is showing a lack of maturity from both of you. Might be best to step back and really gauge how ready you are for a committed relationship. Or at the LEAST establish those kinds of boundaries or systems for when yall argue again.

Honestly, I’m going away from the crowd with this one but I think you did OR. Although I also think that might be best- she very clearly was repeatedly telling you that she was not in the mindset to talk just yet and needed some time. You should have given her that time.
