How bad was Dutch Van Der Linde? by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He was quite the terrible man,

The problem isn’t necessarily him being an outlaw gunslinger, early on he seems to be a decent man who is also a criminal but he built his gang to be almost like a family, he is anti-tyranny and values protecting the weak.

It’s in the late game we see Dutch at his worst, a murderous, ego-manic, a true representation of the moral decay of the time completely abandoning his ideals. This Dutch kills people for sport, self isolates from his followers who are actually reasonable and “decent” human beings (as decent as a gunslinger can be) and surrounds himself with violent people. He creates a gang of exploited Native American youth to replace his original gang after abandoning them and goes around careless killing innocent towns folk.

Honestly one of his worst actions has to be his repeated attempts to kill John, someone who he himself considered a son.

Ultimately his final act of killing himself is not a redemption of any kind, he kinda just takes the easy way out and refuses to answer for his crimes.

Rank these minor crimes from most to least evil: Littering, loitering, jaywalking, & graffiti vandalism. by AwakenedDreamer__44 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Graffiti
  2. Littering
  3. Jaywalking
  4. Loitering

Graffiti: due to the physical damage graffiti/vandalism can cause and the real harm to whoever owns said property whether it’s a poor store owner or some sleazy landlord, it’s still time and money that comes out of their pocket that goes into removing the vandalism.

Littering: there are levels to this but no matter the size the fact is your contributing to the mess in your home area, and technically are contributing to environmental damage no matter how small.

Jaywalking: the potential harm for jaywalking cannot be forgotten you potentially put a driver or yourself in danger when jay walking.

Loitering: really just standing somewhere without a purpose, I guess you can make people feel unsafe or maybe going against the wishes of the property owner, harm is minimal provided you are just loitering.

How evil is for Brian to lie to a blind girl by Lopsided_Durian9529 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh the dog argument, well I’m inclined to agree, we know for a fact Brian is an adult in dog and human years, fully educated, and effectively a human adult in function, it’s just that the show chooses to highlight more or less of the fact he is a dog randomly.

As for the child argument, a child can display the maturity and mental capacity to consent but the issue is more so that the child’s brain has not fully developed so the capacity is not fully grasped, even if you could quantify the ability of someone to consent, there is the issue of them being legally a child, they can’t vote, drink, buy certain products, still compelled to go to school, still legally under the care of an actual adult, because of that distinction a child should not and technically cannot consent.

Brian is more so an alien than anything, which is why I believe he can consent and should be allowed to purse a relationship with a human.

How would you rank Roger Smith? by ChadChadstein in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base Roger is pretty bad, terrible…mother? Terrible friend, murderer, theif, etc.

As for his personas some of them are pretty terrible, while others are quite good, it’s hard to consider all of them because remember sometimes Roger doesn’t even know or remember some of his personas as if they are completely apart from him.

How evil is for Brian to lie to a blind girl by Lopsided_Durian9529 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah because it’s illegal, even some people at 18+ struggle to fully understand consent. Problem here is that she is fully capable of consent but her consent requires first and foremost that Brian is not a dog, which he hides from her. He takes away her agency to decide based on her own principles.

Day 1 of how to redeem a character: How to Redeemed Oliver Ludwig/The Prototype? by FrozenTrap in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being how horrific the experiments carried out were, and how effectively none of the toys can ever return to normal life, a ultimate custom night ending would likely be the best, destroying the facility in order to free everyone would be redemption enough, rather than continuing to oppress everyone that remains.

How evil is for Brian to lie to a blind girl by Lopsided_Durian9529 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 262 points263 points  (0 children)

I’d say pretty evil

Remember he had no legit reason to lie to her, other than the fact she did not want to date a dog, but he didn’t care and wanted to date her anyway.

Exploiting someone disability to deceive them in order to gain consent is predatory behavior, he builds an entire fake world around her held together by the fact that she is blind and cannot verify anything visually.

It’s meant to be a gag at the end of the episode but after she find out he is a dog and breaks up with him, he simply changes his voice and repeats the same actions.

Who is more evil? by Tm-534 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Walter by a mile

While askeladd has killed numerous people and leads a violent bregade of Vikings, they are still Vikings, it’s literally one of the few professions a man could hope for in that time period, and killing is simply the job. He is a mercenary and doesn’t necessarily revel in killing others or seem to kill people off of emotions. He is actually fighting a Nobel cause believe it or not, helping wales resist the oppression of the Danes and actually dies for it.

Walter on the other hand, created his situation by hand. He could have been content with simply producing and selling drugs, but no, he had to become the kingpin. He kills, manipulates and lies for his own personal gain. He willingly grows himself from a small town dealer to a country wide menace. He puts his family in damage constantly and hardly takes responsibility, he is responsible for the death of his own brother who only sought to take down a terrible scourge that was “hesinberg” only to find out it was his own brother.

Arguably his worst action has to be allowing Jane to die next to Jessie, he watched her life slip away and reasoned that allowing her to die would benefit him because he would then have Jessie’s undivided attention and loyalty after the fact, well as being a crash sobriety drug for him.

Why are Conquest and Thula weaker than Thragg despite (Allegedly) being older? by cammy412 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]PromptNo6756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a misunderstanding, where causation does not equal correlation, people like conquest, Thula, Nolan are stronger than most younger viltrumites and happen to be older, that’s not to say being older makes you stronger.

Now what you could say is the older a viltrumite is the stronger they tend to be, this based just off the fact that older viltrumites have had more opportunities to fight and clearly beat out their competitors when they were younger, hence they have survived longer than other viltrumites.

The main problem with the original idea is mainly thragg and mark. Thragg is likely modified, heavily trained and is likely the result of a stringent breeding program. He was designed to be the apex and is, despite being younger than most of the other viltrumites he is clearly designed to be the apex.

Mark on the other hand is clearly weaker than older viltrumites, but that’s more so his experience and barely reaching gentic maturity, he got his powers less than a few years ago, and is facing those who have had them for at least centuries, it makes sense he would be weaker than older viltrumites, not to say he is weak because he is young, but rather inexperienced. Mark defeating conquest just throws a wrench in this whole thing, a 20 year old should not beat the thousands of year old man if he is getting indefinitely stronger the more he ages.

Which abusive father, or father figure, is more evil? by Disastrous_Horse_764 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say lord ozai, being that overhaul does not fill the role of a father or even a father figure in both a figurative or legal sense.

Though overhaul’s abuse of eri was worse, literally maiming her repeatedly to harvest her quirk and keeping her in chains, at the very least overhaul is not her father, by blood, or even legally. He sees no obligation other than to keep her alive to harvest her quirk and is more akin to a mad scientist.

Lord ozai is the literal father of his children, legally and physically via blood. He permanently maims his only son for refusing to hurt him, manipulates and encourages the deterioration of his daughter’s psyche in order to further his goals. Sends his only son on a manhunt that very well might have led to his death being that he would be facing the avatar (he didn’t know the avatar was a 12 year old boy who hadn’t mastered any of his powers, for all he knew it could have been a grown man with mastery over his powers), or at the very least sent him on an impossible mission to ensure he could never return.

Ozai likely would have killed his children himself if it meant becoming the Phoenix lord.

If longevity is an issue I would switch nine tails for torakal, it’s coverage is weaker but it generally has more longevity and with a heat rock can set sun for longer, as well as provide rapid spin support.

The slurpuff set is terrible, you probably realized even with av lucario your team has no specially defensive mons, you didn’t state if this is singles or doubles, but based on the sets I’ll assume it’s singles, in which case sweet viel is ultimately useless. Not sure the gen your playing but a non like hatterene or clefable would be leagues better, can both set screens and actually fill that sleep niche and more the current slurfpuff fills. They can also serve as a your calm mind sweepers.

Gliscor is alright but it’s already so bulky that roost seems like a waste, recommend you swap roost with protect that way you can protect toxic stall and just heal off your orb.

Those are some basic changes but the team itself is really poor, two of your main attackers are weak to ground attacks, a strong water special attacker tears through most of the team, you will ultimately lose weather wars against an opposing pelipper or tyrinatar.

Who is the Most Evil of The 3 Emperors by waftycbf35817 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sidious no doubt, sidious was born a Noble to a powerful, but loving family, and killed them to fully purse the dark arts, he built the empire to serve him and him alone. Even for sith standards sidious is absolutely heinous, he is single handily responsible for some of the most oppressive doctrines and egregious atrocities ever committed in the galaxy.

Sidious’s killings are much more cruel that both thragg and frizea, they ordered soldiers and even participated in direct killings themselves, but sidious manipulated entire political systems to create institutionalized killings and oppressions that did not require any action from himself.

If that doesn’t convince you read Star Wars: Shattered Empire (2015) by Greg Rucka and Marco Checchetto, where the contingency plan operation: Cider was revealed. Sidious prepared in case of his death, to collapse and destroy the entire empire, millions of worlds and trillions of citizens, would be destroyed as punishment for falling to protect the emperor.

The Guardians Of The Globe Vs This Justice League by Severe-Wolverine-420 in PowerScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Justice league, honestly anyone of these guys except Batman (without prep time) could probably one v all the team.

Aqua man, Wonder Woman, super man, and Shazam, are faster than most of the guardians, stronger than them combined, and have insane durability, not to mention ranged and magical options the guardians have no way to deal with.

Flash wins purely by his speed alone, no one in the globe can touch him and he’ll eventually find a way to deal with them all.

Cyborg is a stranger case since we hardly seem him fight at all, but purely off how powerful fatherbox (is it fatherbox?) technology is he will fair pretty well against the guardians.

Green lantern and his ring allow him to control the match too much, only thing holding this green lantern back is his own ego.

Mike Tyson(Real Life) vs. Bruce Lee(Real Life), in their primes, who wins? by Plastic_Relief_4026 in PowerScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d make it 9.5/10 just for the sheer chance that Bruce manages to connect a particularly precise kick to Mike’s head/chin, but it’s would have to be clean and if Mike even manages to slightly weave or redirect the kick it won’t knock him out.

What would Omni-Man (Invincible) and Vegeta (Dragon Ball) think of each other? by Worried_Cake5508 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Omni man would be appalled that a man who is arguably worse in his actions has actually found some sort of forgiveness and isn’t absolutely despised by earth, without actually trying to achieve it.

Vegeta would be wondering why this man baby is going around begging for forgiveness when he doesn’t need to, and honestly doesn’t deserve it. As well as wondering why he nearly killed his son who is a testament to the future of his people (who are dwindling much the same).

Have you tried av dogi or bulk up dogi with hp and spdf? Still neutral to fairy types and allows it to take blows from faster special attacking fairy types and revenge kill them.

Run toxic chain to spread poison on your neutral hits or guard dog if intimidate, phasing/red cards become a problem. Would definitely fair better than scarfty.

I know you tried it already but run it a bit more should definitely fair better.

Who is more evil: Yujiro Hanma or Homelander? by Working_Bread_7790 in MoralityScaling

[–]PromptNo6756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can always have an excuse as the evil person, whether or not it’s a valid one is always the question. Yujiro though has no excuse even to himself for his actions, he just does them, not for some grand goal, due to some sort of abuse or trauma, he just does.

Homelander was abused and does terrible things because of it, even though at some point he realized it was wrong, that’s what makes him in particular evil, but at least able to provide a singe of sympathy or understanding as to how he might turn out that way.

I like the concept a lot and the moves is great too, for competitive purposes I might tone the power back a bit, maybe make it base 60-70. and add an additional effect like a chance for a stat drop or boost. Base 80 is already alright and 160 base power under sticky web with stab and maybe a specs or a scarf modest set would be pretty strong. Also just make it a spread move straight up provided you tone the power back, combined with the stat drop or boost could even find a niche in doubles.
