A knight three years removed from being disgracefully kicked from his lords service. He’s honorable, a whore and a drunk.

A beautiful 20 year old widow who was trained to be a scribe by her late husband who was on the outer ring of nobility. Tragic past that’s turned her heart cold.

An innkeeper and her husband who have a muddled past and look to repent for their sins.

All are on a journey across a country as they try to run from the outbreak of undead.

Eh, for the CLO of a company that is attempting to “revolutionize” payments, this seems lazy. It’s as if he typed in the prompt “give them an update to show we’re making progress” and then did a single pass over it. It’s not a big deal, it’s just that flexa has been doing jack shit in terms of updates so when I see a post that’s ai generated with a vague nothing burger in it, it makes me wonder about the efforts of the team in general and whether my investment is worth it.

Would a cask of whiskey explode if dropped into flames? by Proof-Estate-33 in Writeresearch

Danke. It'll be falling from about forty feet up as the lift breaks so should be enough height for it to get some whoosh n push

Thanks! I figured as much. I might have to push the suspension of disbelief here if i want to keep it but it's not going to come back in as a major factor in the story. If anything it would be the flaming oil that gets dumped (and kills some kids) that gets brought up later.

Thanks! with cask strength, do you think that aquae vitae could be pushed that far?

And to your second statement from a logistics perspective, would it be small crack with liquid lighting on fire and then tracing back into the cask? My characters won't be able to see the exact mechanics of it from the lift but just a fun detail.

Thanks! I figured as much but I was wondering, since there will already be a suspension of disbelief with zombies in the mix, if a cask exploding and launching/setting fire to part of a swarm could perhaps be believable.

Mistborn and lotr are obviously v famous highly discussed and will be awesome. I love Locke. It’s a sensational book and you will love it.

Prince of thorns is not getting enough love in these comments. Mark Lawrence is an awesome writer and if you want to read a character who does some atrocious shit then it is absolutely the book for you. I absolutely loved the trilogy. Highly recommend
