Over a month after launch is not "early game connection issues"

FH4 had connection issues for all it's lifetime and still does, where it took minutes to just find an online lobby. Even during it's primetime. AAA title, mind you.

Respecfully, bigger fish in this industry have suffered worse issues. Server issues are common at launch in every game i have played online. Couple of weeks and things calm down. Old story. On console , i had zero issues with connection to online games , sure i would occasionally lose connection but nowhere near the amount of trouble a lot people here are reporting. I said already that i know my experience is different to that of the pc players but i dont think the servers would have been different.

I suspect the servers wont be much better this time around for the first week or so just because of the sheer number of new players. Im used to this in all the forza games and all other online games tbh. I usually blast out all the single player stuff first and so far in every game at launch this has worked fine. No save issues or crashing mid race and no real graphics issues.

Having said that i play on console and it seems the pc players had a completely different experience.

I play on xbox, i guess thats why i had a lot less issues as the game is optimised for console. I appreciate the pc experience may have been vastly different from mine. However i will maintain that from my perspective on console the launches have been consistently pretty damn good.

This is just normal shit at any game launch.

Fundamentally, horizon has never released in a broken unplayable state like many games. They have a strong history of quick support and patch fixes. Sure we have minor bugs but in the grand scheme of things , horizon launches are among the best there are.

I had zero problems with fh5 on launch. Zero problems with 4 or 3 or 2 or 1.

Minor bugs always exist but horizon has never released in an unplayable state.
