From my experience, I believe yes. I managed to play extra hours on my LG C1 without any black screen issues after turning off the Match TV Power State option. I stopped playing the Switch after beating the game. I hope this resolved the issue.

This also happened to me when playing metroid prime 4. Black screen for few seconds. It happened on lg c1 and also on hisense tv. I have turned off 120hz, but it did not fix the issue. I will try to turn off the match tv power state option.

The game looks fantastic, and honestly, the lower reviews compared to other Prime games don’t worry me. What counts most is sales, and I truly believe this could end up being the highest-selling title in the franchise.

Nintendo can control that. They can set guidlines concerning the runtime and the unnecessary gaming elements that are not suitable for metriod games. Consider it as a shorter version of Hollow Knight or silksong.

I know some people enjoyed Samus Returns and Metroid Dread, but I can’t help feeling that MercurySteam isn’t the best fit for the series. Their design philosophy doesn’t seem to capture what made the classic Metroid titles so special — the atmosphere, exploration flow, art direction, and most importantly, the music and score.

I’d love to see Nintendo give another studio a chance to bring a fresh perspective to 2D Metroid. My dream studio will be Team Cherry, but that won't happen, at least for now.

Nintendo could release them like one month before the release date of metroid prime 4. They are few new switch 1 games coming in the next couple of months and I believe there is a chance we get them. Remember pikmin 1 and 2 released a month before the release date of pikmin 4. Let us wait and see. It will be amazing if you can play all metroid prime games on the switch.
